Three way tiebreakers?

    How are the three or four way tie breakers decided if the following happens?

    NE 35
    DC 35
    NY 35
    Chicago or Columbus 35


    It is possible for this to occur and how would they decide who makes the playoffs with only two of these teams making it?

    It is also possible that the following happens

    Colorado defeats KC twice giving this scenario:

    NE 35
    KC 35
    DC 35
    NY 35
    Columbus or Chicago 35


    How is that to be decided????

    The following table shows how head-to-head records would look if the teams below were to end up the season tied at 35 pts.

    Note that Chicago and Columbus can't both end up with 35 pts, so their head-to-head record is not applicable.
