hang is full of so much hate for a peace-loving hippy, what gives? I dislike the crap stuff that they sell at places like Spencers, but I've seen cases where black lights have been used for some cool effects.
mostly used at certain bars/clubs. I went to a party once, whose theme was something about toxic waste dump or something. Anyway, they served mostly gin and tonics, because of the quinine, the drinks all glowed due to black lights. They also added dry ice to the drinks so they would smoke. It gave the nice impression of drinking something truly bad for you. You just had to make sure you didn't get the dry ice stuck to your tongue and get frostbite from it. Plus they used fluorescent paints in their decorations... That's just one example.

Yeah, I've got the one with white circles at the corner of all the dark squares. When you look at the circles, they are white, but if you look away they look like they're grey. Whoo!
