I don't think the comment about lack of quality strikers is that far off the mark. Look at this last weekend's slate of 5 games: two 0-0 ties and two 1-0 games. I know everyone at BS will tell how exciting these 0-0 and 1-0 games can be, but that is the exceptions. If these games had tons of great chances and great saves, I would agree that it could be exciting. However, most of these games are boring. The casual soccer fans want to see goals, much like the casual baseball fan wants to see homeruns.
