I'm half in and half out on this. Should the tv guy be gluttonous? Clearly not, but it's only a tv show and it's not his fault entirely because he's making a living in the USA where more food is thrown away than what this guy consumes, plus the face is because that food seems to be very spicy from what I have seen. I blame all of us for not voting properly and to a limited extent blame the people in those countries for not thinking a little bit about the consequences of their personal actions. (Time to move this to the P&CE forum).

Endearing? My feeling is that he is no better than the many frat boys around town (personality-wise).
The show format it self is pretty boring, but Adam's personality and comical relief does carry the show. I am not digging the Nation aspect of it all, as the normal regular peeps are just normal and does not have the personality to make the challenge interesting.
