It was painful just watching her sing the song. Even worse was the WTF look on the face of the players whenever they did a close up on them.

Indeed. And her parents should be ashamed of themselves for putting her in that position. I'm all for letting your kids pursue their dreams, but at some point you need to sit them down and tell them that maybe they should pursue one of their other dreams and not let them go on national TV and embarrass themselves like that.

Please, that is a bunch of BS. There were no vuvuzelas and no crowd noise. She practiced earlier in the day to get used to the speakers as well. This is FCD, quietest fans in MLS. She has every right to persue her dreams of singing, but the national anthem should not be used to showcase her talent.
I think Philly Union does it. I could be wrong, but that is the way it should be done. By the audience, not some wannabe American Idol taking her talents to Hollywood crap.
