This is probably a stupid question, but...

...I thought it worth asking. Since DCU moved all their offices to RFK this season, what would happen with the pre-Christmas equipment sale, especially since baseball should be setting up shop soon with a more substantial presence? More specifically, will there even be a sale this year?

Yeah, I've been wondering if they're going to lose their offices. If they do that sucks because I was really loving the trophy case in the lobby.

K said in the "should we have a new near news and rumors thread" thread, that she is working on getting the info. She also mentioned some big eBay auction that JH6 will win everything in ;)

Coolness. I want to add a Perkins shirt to my collection, and maybe some of that fetching training gear, too.

They won't lose the offices to the Expos. Apparently, there's plenty of room. I guess the worst is that they need to move the weight room, and maybe some storage facilties.

Payne said something along the lines of "they can run their offices out of Montreal for all I care". Basiclly it seems like Payne believes since United was there first, they aren't moving. If the FO is forced to move, maybe we can get a bunch of money of the Expos.

Shameless bump to keep this on the front page.

The money for termination of the lease would in all likelihood come from the DCSEA, not the Expos/Nationals. There could be a subleasing clause in their lease, but I would tend to doubt it.

It said in the papers when the Nats (that name makes we want to puke BTW) came to D.C. that DCU would stay in the same offices.
