Two intriguing second halves about to kick-off in CL qualifying:

Intriguing because in both cases the losing team controlled most of the play in the first halves. The winners will meet each other in the final qualifying round.

lol Looks like the World Cup will kick off one day earlier than planned! Talk about being disorganized (FIFA). The reason for it makes sense ie so that the hosts Qatar can play in the opening match and have that match at a convenient time for both countries involved. But its a bit late to change. Now fans have booked their flights and tickets already.

I’ve never gone abroad to a tournament, so not a trick question. Who arrives for a tournament on the day of the first game they want to watch?

Most likely, yes (although if you arrive the night before you'd still be screwed in this case or at least be stressed depending what time your flight lands). I usually spare a couple of days. But if I was going to this WC, I'd probably cut it closer. I mean, WTF is there to do in Qatar before the WC kicks off?
