Toronto has a commanding lead in this year's series, having secured the 2-0 win a couple weeks ago. If we want to reclaim the trillium throne, we gotta smash these assholes. So, let's drink some maple tears, bitches! ******** Bradley. ******** Altidore. ******** Toronto. JUST WIN, BABY! @Big J 0526, you're grounded! EDIT: Look at this ********ing logo. GLORIOUS! Who don't want to win a competition sporting that logo? DOUBLE SECRET EDIT: Toronto has won three straight matches against the Crew. Disgusting.
@chr1st - you rock. @Big J 0526 - you rock as well. Trilllllllium Cup glory at Historic Crew Stadium.
Do you know who Zip is??? This guy single-handedly convinced the section, after a many years-long campaign, to stop chanting the Nazi ref chant. He will not quit until he gets his voting option. He must have his voice heard. Loudly. Like Cale… Nevermind.
Of interest… Toronto FC says Alejandro Pozuelo could return from injury Saturday in Columbus. #TFCLive https://t.co/vV3famsqve pic.twitter.com/x5rBko3wsi— Neil Davidson (@NeilMDavidson) May 27, 2021 Sources: #TFCLive have told #usmnt striker Jozy Altidore to train on his own apart from the first team after a disagreement with manager Chris Armas: https://t.co/t6D4MCmTGH— Jeff Carlisle (@JeffreyCarlisle) May 28, 2021
Wasn't it the scuttlebutt that the reason Vanney bailed on Toronto was because the team was insisting on keeping both Jozy and Caillou around and Vanney thought they were both overpriced wastes of finite resources? So now Vanney is in LA while TFC would reportedly like to move Altidore and Caillou has obviously lost a step. Shrewd.
I went for the two-point Grouchy vote. The Crew are going to get the offense going this weekend. Of course, it'll be the first game I go to since last year's opener, so I'm probably dooming it right out of the gate.
And TFC hire Armas, who has zero experience working with a roster like this, to replace Vanney. Extra shrewd. Hard to believe Pozuelo would be ready to play a ton of minutes after having not played at all thus far in 2021.
For guys that have lost a step Altidore and "Calliou" embarrassed us last meeting. Here's hoping they lost a few more steps in between these matches.
While I want a win, I'll be honest. I'm just happy to be able to go to a game.... Hopefully I won't feel like this guy afterward....
From the sounds of it, Altidore will be losing all the steps one would need to take to board the plane to get here.
It would sound unlikely that a player would be banished from practice all week and then suit up for the game.
Armas claims Pozuelo will play tomorrow: https://www.timminspress.com/sports...ck-in-the-lineup-on-saturday-against-the-crew How many minutes and whether he starts is another question: Good to know Armas isn't over-thinking it.
There's the possibility of a comment here about LZ and female fans, but I'm too mature and high-brow to make it.
