Man if they could only sell this guy for at least 10 million pounds. Sounds like he is staying for now.

I'm actually in pretty good spirits about all this.

I liked Rio, but if he wants to go, there's no sane reason to turn down 30 million.

Woody (assuming he gets his *************** together) has enormous potential.

Bowyer, if he chooses to stay on, should have a very good season, because he's got something to prove. Besides, it leaves LUFC with that much less to worry about in Midfield.

Leeds should look for another young energetic defender (or two) of good quality...Maybe another Midfielder...and hold on to what they've got (Fowler, Keane, Viduka, Bowyer, Mills, Dacourt).
After that, just roll the dice!
It's still a damn good squad without Rio. We only need 4th place to make it to the Champions League.

The signing of Okon surprised me. He is a good player, but he hasn't played regularly for a while now. Terry Venables was always impressed by Okon when he was the coach of Australia but that was going back at least 5 years.

I wish leeds would stop signing australians, we have a hard enough time getting players as it is. When they are in the same club it will be impossible.

    Signed Okon? Yuck.

At the moment, Venables has the philosophy "Oh you played under me once, I will buy you!"

Okon is as rusty as a '73 toyato.
