Any HipHeads out in BS land? Caught both shows this weekend at The Odeon in Cleveland. Let me just say, there is nothing like seeing them in a small venue as opposed to, say, the Air Canada Centre in Toronto or the HSBC Arena in Buffalo. What do you make of "In Violet Light", the new disc? I have to say, I really like it. There were some tunes that I couldn't stop listening to right off the bat: Are You Ready? Use It Up, The Darkest One, It's a Good Life, and Beautiful Thing. Took me a few spins to like Silver Jet and The Dark Canuck, but now just about all of them get heavy rotation. I certainly hope this isn't the last disc they put out...the retirement rumors still swirl around, yet I think they still have two to three more discs in them still. John
I've seen them four our 5 times, but lost touch after trouble at the henhouse. maybe i'll check out the new disc.
