How do they drink it in the Newcastle? Personally, I prefer to drink mine from a pint glass rather than a bottle, but I'd rather drink from the bottle than a can.

You really should know this it even says on the bottle. You pour a half pint of it into a pint glass and keep it about there untill finished. Thats how they drink it. Unless it's in one of the places where they serve it draught

Unless it's matchday and the pub is packed, in which case you just drink it straight from the 22oz bottle. Or better yet, have one in each hand.

As for the "less sophisticated" bit about the can, when I'm taking the train up to the Toon from King's Cross I'd rather drink the Broon from a can than anything else.

The big guy is like that for every match, minus small child (he ate him) even in winter. He sits in THE CORNER THE CORNER THE CORNER

I read my bottle a couple nights ago and there are no instructions like that, just a little tidbit about how it's called "the dog" and what to say to the woman: "I'm gaan downtown to taak the dog for a walk" (or something like that). Perhaps it's different in the States.

Well on the bottles they sell over here they tell you to drink it that way. So it must be different.

As long as Broon is available to drink somewhere is the important thing.
