The formation Zidane chooses to go with next season will be interesting indeed, we have to remember Zidane initially didn’t want to play with a DM when he took over from Rafa, Casimero was bench until his hands were pretty much forced because we looked so fragile.
I doubt it giving how he used to praise Makelele considering him to be the engine of the galacticos back them .
Good business Mr. President. Finally a striker that is built like a bull and play like a tiger. What we need.
The James thing is strange.. perhaps he thinks he is too slow for how he wants to play or like we mentioned earlier he does not want to deal with the player and his family for when he’s left on the bench. Kova is coming back..and it is not clear to me what his situation will be but with Fede he is now redundant and should be sold
I meant it as an example of Zidane not preferring talent over work ethic, style over substance, in regard to him not wanting a DM.
Yet he was still playing without a DM until it was clear that we needed one despite holding that opinion, I’m inclined to agree that the chances of going him DM-less is low but I doubt we stick to the same old 4-3-3 for most games next season, we’ll see.
I’m surprised a certain Benz fan hasn’t been triggered and hasn’t come for both of you as yet, anyway , welcome Jovic as mentioned by many before I hope he has a long and successful career with us, personally my biggest concern was with the forward line, putting chances away, so i’m happy that it is being addressed
I felt replacing Ronaldo and Bale and getting at mimimum a legit backup for Benzema have not been given the priorities they should have in recent summers. We could have gone after Hazard last summer instead of risking the season would go just a little worse than it did and we end up out of the CL places. Bale should have been long gone after winning the double in 16/17 basically without him making any meaningful contributions. And Benzem is okay but this thing about him not having a backup is weird. I can't think of any situation where a team wouldn't want to have a capable goal scorer coming off the bench in close games, knockouts, etc.
I'm still waiting for someone to tell me where and how Jovic is going to fit into the starting line up. ZZ has never played a classic striker fox in the box with Benzema. ZZ has never benched Benz even if he is underperforming. So when is this dude going to play? Copa minutes?
Zidane had a player who scored 40 goals then in Ronaldo. So your whole point of comparing his past squad is moot and even you know it. But trolls gonna troll. ABC says ZZ likely to play 4-3-1-2. What starting XI you have ZZ playing? One which Vinicius starts 60 games and Jovic gonna get Copa minutes? Even Morata started 16 odd league games competing with younger Benz in a team that had several other attackers including Ronaldo. So don't even start with Copa minutes crap when we are missing all the goals Ronaldo scored and Benz turns 32 in December.
4-4-2 with Benzema and Jovic at top. He's too good for bench. Glad we got him tied up for 6 years [emoji3060]

In April, Barça ruled out the signing of Jović because the club felt they needed someone with better mobility outside the box, not just inside. [md] pic.twitter.com/hGffNDMMuj— barcacentre (@barcacentre) June 4, 2019 Salt [emoji1787]
Man twitter got jokes. They had a SPORT writers article when they reported an agreement with Jovic saying "Barca to sign the newest striker super talent, fee to be way under 100 mil" and today the same writer posted an article "Real Madrid pay 60 mil. for a Europa league player"
