    SCG 2-3 POLAND

We played like old monkeys in the wheelchairs. The only one who did perfectly his job was Vidic, and Zigic did what he could, but he is not kind of player who can do something on his own. Stankovic, Koroman, Milosevic, Djordjevic, Ljuboja - disaster. I understand this was a friendly game, but that was our worst game in last 2 years. I dont even know how we scored...twice. I'm very, VERY disapointed.

    under 21: Serbia & Montenegro 4-1 Ukraine
Once again, I'm not satisfied with our performance despite the result. We played totaly without an idea in attack. But unlike seniors, youngsters were trying at least.... But still - very ugly game.

    www.fc-redstar.net:
    Djordjevic signed for Alaniya 17.08.2005

Djordjevic left Red Star after 16 years

As it was expected, defender Slavoljub Djordjevic left Red Star and signed contract with Russian club Alaniya Vladikavkaz.

Our player left club after 16 years. After he passed all medicals, he signed contract until the end of 2008. Djordjevic already trained with new team and it is expected to make his debut on Sunday when Alaniya play against Saturn.

Too bad. Now all defence players have granted place in 1st eleven. I can see:
    RB____________CD__________________CD_____________LB
    Draman_______Dudic_______________Bisevac________Lukovic

(I hope Basta will play RM, not RB when he returns)

I just wonder what will we do if someone gets injured?

Yep, we played exactly the same like 2 days ago. The difference is that Ukraine is better team than Poland, so we didnt have much chances today. The only positive thing I've seen is when Vidic and Krstajic play central defenders (like in the first half) we can hardly recieve a goal. Zigic is totally useless with this system of play - short passes through the middle.....not by his fault of course. Maybe this is just cover because Lithuanians and Spanish dont know his most powerfull weapon...yet[IMG]

I don't think that will happen. Although if they pay us enough for new players I wouldn't mind changing the stadium name to the Toyota Markakna Stadium. :D Look at Arsenal, known as Fly Emirates Stadium although everyone calls it Ashton Grove.

Actually our stadium is called Stadion Crvene Zvezde, but it's known in the people as small Marakana or just Marakana. So, I wont mind at all if it changes name to Toyota center. I like it better than Stadion Crvene Zvezde.

It looks like Red Star has some ground to make up. We need to get the three points.

FT Red Star Belgrade 3 - 1 Vozdovac

    73' B. Jankovic, 79' B. Jankovic, 90' Trajkovic - 16' [0 - 1] Jovancic

Vozdovac took the lead but a double goal salvo from Jankovic took care of the game. A good way to start off the league campaign at Marakana. I'm really suprised about Jankovic... This is his 4th goal in his second league game, a man to replace Zigic or Pantelic when they leave? Who knows...

He is attacking midfielder, not attacker. And, by the way, noone can replace Zigic ;)
    P.S.
I'm also surprised by low attendance on our 1st game on Marakana. Somewhere about 4.000 people were present. North was OK once again-maybe 3.000 Delije:

but other 2 sides with "regular" supporters were nearly empty  . It seems like poeple have lost their faith in our football.
