nice feint by Kimmich before scoring to make it 3-0 lead at HT for Bayern. Assist by Hummels! https://imgtc.com/w/ZLONvns

Joshua Kimmich (23) now has 18 goals and assists in the Bundesliga and Champions League this season.⚽ 5 goals🅰️ 13 assistsThis Kimmich season will go down as one of the most impressive right-back campaigns ever. Absurd output. pic.twitter.com/OYUJLoqSyR— SCOUTED (@scoutedftbl) April 25, 2018
I mean, it’s understandable that he’s dissapointed after the CL exit and now the DFB Pokal loss considering that he’s consistently doing everything he’s supposed to do and consistently the best Bayern player over those games, but Bayern loses the game because they just can’t score those 100% opportunities and those 100% sloppy goals they allow as well This has been his best season though if you look at his stats Now he should be top motivated for the WC to save a rather mediocre season for Bayern at the end
A Spectator No More: Joshua Kimmich a Key to Germany's World Cup Repeat Quest Four years ago, Joshua Kimmich watched Germany win the World Cup with his teammates in the German third division. Now, he's marking the world's top players and is the heir to the great Philipp Lahm in Russia. https://www.si.com/soccer/2018/06/15/joshua-kimmich-germany-world-cup
Kimmich new season and already an assist to give Bayern the 1-0 lead vs Frankfurt. https://streamja.com/3mQQ
Is he a good defender? Does he win tackle enough as a defender? Even today in the first half I saw he was getting beaten in 1:1 against some random Frankfurt attackers...
He's very young. He will improve with training and experience. That being said, his stats from yesterday: 3 Tackles 1 interception 1 clearance 86.6% pass accuracy 3 key passes 1 successful dribble 2 assists
most sites had him as second best player of the game, so not sure how he was bad and I agree he was good vs Frankfurt. it's rare to see a complete fullback, most seem to be either better in defense than attack or better in attack over defense Lahm for example was better in defense while Kimmich is better in attack.
1 - @JoshuaKimmich had the best passing accuracy (94.3%) and the best duel success (77.8%) of all German players in the starting XI vs. France. Midfield. #GERFRA @DFB_Team_EN @FCBayernEN pic.twitter.com/3wYvRRjIpn— OptaFranz (@OptaFranz) September 7, 2018
Joshua Kimmich was involved in 33 goals in 2018, more than any other right-back in Europe. pic.twitter.com/DXH85SSvhS— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) September 24, 2018
