It's open season on suspected leftists in Colombia. And all the U.S. government is concerned about is fumigating coca fields. Obviously we've learned nothing from El Salvador and Guatemala. For those of you unaware of what goes on in these situations: the money behind the death squads is the same money behind the Colombian government. And ALL OF THEM deal drugs. So we pump hundreds of millions of dollars into the country (half of which disappears once it crosses the border) for a war on drugs. Sounds like a bad joke, right? Here's the punchline: All the Colombian government needs to do now is murder four or so U.S. nuns and watch as we double our funding to them.
