that Flick wants to watch Brentford vs Liverpool, tells that he wants to see how Janelt does vs a top club.

so far Brentford has only conceded 2 goals in 4 matches and Janelt is DM too.

FIFA REFORM PLANS: DFB PRESIDIUM CLOSE BY UEFA
In its meeting on September 17, 2021, the Presidium of the German Football Association (DFB) presented the proposal to the "FIFA Legends" and selected journalists on September 9, 2021 in Doha, which the DFB Presidium has only known from media publications complete revision of the international competition calendar and the associated implementation of the FIFA World Cup every two years.

As a result of the discussion, the DFB Presidium states:
The DFB fully supports UEFA's position that a decision on such an important matter cannot be made without the consent of the European associations and European football. Not least because of this, it is incomprehensible to the DFB that, contrary to all principles of good governance, the FIFA leadership did not consult the members of its own council as a first step, but rather so-called "FIFA legends" and disseminated the results of the meeting through the media. In a letter dated September 14, 2021, UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin asked FIFA President Gianni Infantino to invite you to a conference between FIFA and UEFA and its European member associations as soon as possible. This is absolutely necessary in order to get to know FIFA's proposals in detail and to be able to inform FIFA of the serious concerns and the effects of the reform proposals on the European associations and European football as a whole.

Like all other European national associations, leagues and clubs, the DFB is most affected by the reform models that were obviously being discussed in Doha. The changeover of the world championships to a two-year cycle and a drastic reduction in the period of notice for national teams would have massive effects on football in Germany, in Europe, but also worldwide.

For the DFB it is neither recognizable nor imaginable that FIFA's plans, which so far have only become known from the media, as announced in the letter from FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura of September 15, 2021, will provide "more interesting games, more teams around the world Offer opportunities and possibilities and design the game technically in such a way that it does justice to the interests of all ". At least for the European national associations organized in UEFA, their leagues and clubs, this is unlikely to apply:

-If either a men's world or European championship takes place every summer, the women's and junior tournaments would be marginalized in the shadow of the men's competitions. In addition, this effect would be drastically increased if the number of sideline periods were reduced, because these competitions (e.g. U21 European championships) would then have to take place in parallel with the world or European championships of the senior national teams.

-The physical and mental strain for national players would be immense in view of a major annual tournament alternating between world and European championships and an approximately one-month lay-off period in October, and would lead to a significantly increasing risk of injury.

-The significance of the major tournaments would decrease if they doubled, since the World and European Championships draw their significance not least from their rarity.

-The central marketing of the European national team competitions by UEFA has so far guaranteed the national associations financial security, stability and sustainability. Such a serious change in the international game calendar with a single, longer period of suspension would endanger them to the greatest extent.

-An immediate radical change in the global game calendar would collide with the long-term contracts of the DFB and UEFA.

The aforementioned points and many other questions require detailed examination and discussion as quickly as possible. Like UEFA, the DFB has been involved in partnership and support projects around the world for decades. This is precisely why the DFB expects FIFA to pay particular attention to and take into account the specific interests of the European national associations.

Most polite middle finger I've ever read. It's a shame that the billions of people around the world that love this game have to put up with the crap that FIFA keeps on pulling on us.

Say what you like about the Bundesliga, but at least 50%+1 keeps some involvement for the fans at he club level. There should be more recognition and involvement of fans at national, confederation and world levels.

LOL Bayer coaches looks annoyed that Wirtz is too much of an influencer.
Leverkusen's hero is only 18 years old - but Florian Wirtz has long been the junior boss. Clock and now also a match winner in the Europa League against Budapest (2: 1). His top quota: 6 scorer points (3 goals / 3 assists) in 204 minutes of the season, one goal every 34 minutes.

The Wirtz madness has recently led him to the senior national team. "Every young player dreams of one day playing for their country with the professionals and in the national team," explains Wirtz. “It is very nice that this also happened for me during this time. I'm trying to make other games there too. But first I'll give the club my foot. ”Then more international matches will be added automatically ...

Bayer trainer Gerardo Seoane (42): “Florian’s main strength is to be very clear in the last third when he has a chance to finish. He makes good decisions and plays the last good pass. We count on these strengths, but we can't just rely on Florian! We have other players who have similar facilities. "

That is why Seoane makes an announcement to his inefficient offensive players before the game in Stuttgart (Sunday, 3:30 p.m. / DAZN) and names Amiri, Adli, Diaby and Paulinho.

Seoane: "The goal must be to get these players so far that they can jump into this role when Florian is not decisive for the game." At 18 years of age ...

GOLDEN HEN FOR JAMAL MUSIALA AND U 21
Golden evening for German national players: The coveted audience and media prize "Goldene Henne", which was awarded today in Leipzig, went to DFB protagonists in two categories this year. Jamal Musiala received the award in the "Newcomer of the Year" category. The U21 national team prevailed in the "Sport" category.

"It is a great honor for me to receive the award," said Musiala about the presentation of the award by presenter Kai Pflaume. "I'm very proud. But I have to keep working hard so that I can continue to win titles with the national team and FC Bayern in the future." The 18-year-old national team player already received the "Golden Hen" during the international phase in Stuttgart. Jamal Musiala prevailed in the "Newcomer of the Year" category against actress Lea Drinda and musician Leonie Burger alias Leony.

"We represent a whole team here," said Stefan Kuntz, coach of the U21 men. "I always said to the boys: 'For me, the yardstick is not whether you shoot exactly into the corner, but that the audience at home throws away the bag of chips with enthusiasm.' Then you deserve an audience award too, "said the DFB trainer at the award ceremony. The U21 national team also won against well-known competition as the current European champions. In addition to Thomas Tuchel, coach of the Champions League winner FC Chelsea, bobsleigh rider Francesco Friedrich and luge rider Julia Taubitz were also available. The ski jumpers Karl Geiger, Pius Paschke, Markus Eisenbichler and Severin Freund were nominated as a further team.

FIFA are corrupt clowns, running weighted polls to try and support their shitty plans. The majority of fans do NOT want this, it is just a way for FIFA to wring some more profit out of their cash cow even though running it more often devalues it somewhat.

It may be he just took a long time to get over his injury.

But anyone who saw him play under Pep knows he can cut it at the top level. He really is best wide left, with positional discipline

I think having him wandering all over the pitch like Loew allowed is not good for him.

So happy for Sané. I gave up on him after Euros. Now he is showing us doubters how
ridiculously talented he is. And he has not even maxed his potential yet..

What annoyed me far more than the Sane story was Loew wasting Gnabry who had really shown what he could do in the right sided role.

Tinkerman Loew did his best to destroy what little confidence sane had after a bad injury by playing him out of position, that also applied to flick.

What is even worse is… I know Gnabry is a clinical finisher but what was Joachim doing playing him as a CF..when you have Havertz…what disaster of Euros ..Hell Havertz was playing for most of the Euro games RW? Joachim Pretty much played almost every attacking player out of position.
