Italy back 2 (no back 3 crap)
Chiellini-36 years old (turns 37 in August)
    Bonucci-34 years old

and still won Euro, shows that it should be about best players and not ageism.

Yes, they are good but the structure of the team ahead of them is very strong and that is the key, we had a very unbalanced midfield and attack.

more of a Low jab who ditched Hummels and Boa under premise of playing inferior CBs as they are younger.

German back 2(highly rated by Jogi)
    Can - 20 something
    Tah - 20 something

    and Tah was left out,

still won 1 GS match courtesy of the emergency call-up to Hummels, Jogi showed that it should be about his loyal players and not by current form.

[:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::thumbsup: hoeneß is so mean.To me it just seems like what hoene is doing is . If you are not a bayern player = you suck. when the likes of Müller , gnabry and sane did absolutely nothing at the Euros he say nothing about them. Yes Gosens has weakness that is not not that good in a back four at left back but but he is a very good left wing back. Also i think it will help our wing back or full backs if we had a real CF who was good in the air.

But what is the point trash talking a german squad member who did reasonably well and gave it everything?

because NT will by default bring out trashing with failure.

the real trashing should be aimed at Low.

but can't deny that Kroos wasn't good enough and Gosens might not be want Germany need at LB. Even Jupp basically said Kimmich at RB pass and LB not good enough without saying it by saying need for world class fullback.

I read Jupp's post as indirect trashing too a lot of things.

Gosens seems to be the best option at this point, certainly better then Halstenberg or Schulz on current form.

Maybe players like Raum, Katterbach, Jakobs etc can perform well this season and put themselves in the picture, but I like Gosens offensive game, his numbers are very good and he is playing at a high level at Atalanta in Serie A and CL.

Can't wait for hansi flicks official appointment and his plans for the National team. Time we moved on from the debacle of the last 4 years. Italys triumph is a clear
Signal that anything is possible and we have all the ingredients to be successful @ Qatar and definitely 2024 @ our home Euros.

Nagelsmann on Süle: "You have to be completely honest with the players. Niki's contract expires next year, he didn't really have a fortunate last season. However he has everything that a world class centre-back should have, we shouldn't forget that"

Sule has all the attributes of A top center back, the question is his motivation and commitment. No doubt in my mind he's carrying abit to much weight, which could possibly lead on to injuries. Hope he sorts himself out .

A positive side effect of the disastrous last three years is that this will allow Flick to quietly do his job and that Germany will fly under the radar for the next seventeen months.

Yeahhh, well Flick wot have an easy job, that's all i can say. Also I don't really see any big opponents in the NeXT few months for Germany so it will be tough to judge the progress...

Come end of August .... it will be really interesting who he selects for the three qualifiers in September - when is his official starting date? 1st of August ?
I assume he will hold a press conference then already.....
    two weeks

Still cant get over that Löw tried to implement a system with 3 at the back in like 3 weeks. Playing a system that the core of the team feel uncomfortable with, erasing their automatismus. And he should know players confidence is knocked in national team from earlier debacles and need to feel comfortable to perform.

While having players from Bayern who managed good for club with like 3-4 missing pieces Alaba,Davies,Lewandowski. Though having Havertz,Werner,Baku (should have had if not Kuntz complained probably), Gosens, Neuhaus,Volland etz at his disposal. Löw actually had quite good conditions to play a good cup.Think it would have been ok to lose against England playing at home on the margin if we would have presented nice, positive football.

instead Löw acted like a narcssistic amateur chess player think he would outsmart the world with a masterplan built in 4 weeks.

sorry for my nagging. Was my last raid on the subject. Now I leave it behind looking forward.

I had Germany vs England 2010 WC on my youtube recommendations.

    commentator
Only England could do this, get a FK some 30 yards from opposition and concede a goal at other end.

lol watching that highlight was like as if present day Germany was England 2010.:ROFLMAO:
