It's really depressing to consider that the recent signings of top MLS players by Euro teams is a ongoing and escalating trend. While I was glad to see Ryan Nelsen get his due with the Blackburn Rovers and wish him the best of success, it will be sad to see Eskadarian and our other developing young players like Gros or Carroll move on as their skills become more widely recognized. I hope that someday MLS gets to a point at which it doesn't have to be a minor league to the Euro futbol powers, although that day is no doubt a long ways off. That said, I have to say that I have enjoyed this thread about as much as anything I've read on Big Soccer. Kudos to Sanguine.
