Havertz to Barcelona could also happen

Before the corona virus hit this was the most likely big European team to pay the € 100m Leverkusen is asking for. The more I read about Barcelona's finances and the unwillingness among their players to give them another pay-cut, the more I'm convinced they won't be able to sign Havertz this summer.

Nobody is willing to relieve them of Coutinho and Dembele so there's a massive black hole in their balance sheet.

Poor Michael Ballack. He sacrificed himself so we could go to the 2002 WC final. He was a victim of that retarded rule that suspended players for the final based on yellow cards. Bernd Schneider was also one of the few on that team who could actually play.

looks like he now becomes a real striker, his best position so far.

anyone thinks he could replace Lewandowski if he comes to Bayern ?

if he comes to Bayern seems like he could be the Coutinho replacement.

he's only playing CF because Volland is injured and Alario is a bum. Volland is back now but can't play 90 min yet.

I don't really care where he ends up as long as he plays CL next season.

I just want Germany have a better striker option than what they have now, using a pair Sane/Gnabry or Reus who have no aerial threat at all can be interrupted by good opponents, Germany definitely need new complete striker as soon as possible.

Long term replacement maybe. If Havertz is at Bayern next season he won't play CF when Lewandowski is fit. Lewa, Gnabry, Havertz, Sane and Muller (plus Coman and maybe Perisic) is quite a formidable potential attacking dept.

If Bayern see Havertz as a striker in the long term then him signing could be bad news for Arp's prospects I think.

Potentially bad news for Gnabry, too. Sané is expected to take all the minutes on the left wing.

Meaning Gnabry, Coman, Müller or Havertz would battle for one spot on the right wing.

I hope he stays at Leverkusen for next season and play regularly without the pressure to deliver

Sane will take the left and Gnabry takes the right. Harvetz can start from the Muller role and grow into the Lewy role

been heavily linked with Chelsea in past few days.

lol if Werner, Havertz and Rudiger are all at Chelski next season.

Chelski gradually building a German contingent then lol. Also linked with Waldschmidt. In the past they obviously had Ballack, Marin and Schurrle as well. Ballack did well but both Marin and Schurrle were flops.

I think Werner is pretty well suited to the EPL, a lot of teams transition pretty quick and you get a lot of counter attacking. He has some similar attributes to Vardy.

Havertz should stay at Leverkusen for now, he doesn't need the pressure of being a €100m player already. If he moves then Bayern or Spain would be preferable to Chelski.

Yea why not? Jovic and to a certain extent Hazard flopped and who knows how long Benzema will stay there. Probably as long as Zidane is manager.

"He's a player for Real Madrid," Bierhoff told Marca.

"He's a very young player, but he has everything – plenty of talent, technical ability and physicality. He's a very complete player, who is going to be very important for us.

"He's one of those players who blows you away, but he has to keep on growing," Bierhoff said.

I think Kai will be selling his talent short if he goes to Chelsea

He belongs to a tier 1 club Madrid Barcelona Bayern caliber not Chelsea

Chelsea is building a pretty talented squad, they're going to surprise a lot next season.
