Q: ‘You were Chelsea’s most expensive signing, surely you’ve repaid that now?’Havertz: ‘I couldn’t give a fuck we just won the Champions League.’legend. https://t.co/KjFR29n5Tp— amadí (@amadoit__) May 29, 2021
1 - Kai Havertz is the first player to score his first UEFA Champions League goal in a final since İlkay Gündoğan in 2013. Timely. #UCLFinal pic.twitter.com/9uxr9QKEek— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) May 29, 2021
I did not see the game only the highlights !!!! Was havertz great through out the game or was it just the goal ? On highlights they did not show any other havertz moments ?
Given that he's gone to foreign shores as a young man at a Hugh club with picking up covid as well, he's been very impressive, specially in the last few months in the business end of the season
Chelsea really set up defensive to hit city on the break and Kai took his chance brilliant. Also he made a great solo run to set up pulisic in the second half who missed, Kai and Werner for me were Chelsea a best attacking players, their chemistry is impressive
It will probably be the other way around. We will try some half ass possession football while France drops back with their more than solid defense and then hits us on the counter with Mbappe,Coman,Griezmann and Benzema
Against France we have to adapt similar tactics, we cannot afford to get caught for counters with the likes of Mbappe koeman greizman in their attack, I will settle with a draw and agree with White/blue 1860 with possibly a 5-3-2 formation against the French.
Havertz - Fabulous talent !! All the doubters are looking pretty damn stupid this morning Joint Man of the Match performance with Kante People seem to forget that he struggled with Covid earlier this year
Yep covid hit him hard, people forget he's only 21 in a foreign country, agree alongside Kante, Rudiger Havertz was brilliant. Also for a young kid his game inteligence is way above other 21 year olds which sets him apart
I am very happy for him. He's been playing well not only in the final but for the last 7-8 weeks. It looks like he's turning the corner. In a match like this where Man City didn't use a defensive midfielder for the first 60 minutes and left a lot of space for Chelsea to explore, there is no doubt that he can shine. Those are his favorite games. People usually criticize him when he plays against smaller clubs who park the bus and there aren't a lot of clear chances to score. In those type of matches, he needs to be more decisive and more creative.
Havertz turned 22 a couple days ago 🔵 Happy Birthday, 2021 #UCL final hero Kai Havertz! 🥳 What can we expect from him next season? pic.twitter.com/TTa9Mk6P1b— UEFA Champions League (@ChampionsLeague) June 11, 2021
Happy he’s playing well but I’d like to see him put on some muscle next year. needs to get on the Goretzka diet.
