It was more the Man Utd game, I feel. Man, if only Trent had been ready for that one we'd have iced that damn cake.
You can understand drawing against Utd, we were by far the better team in both games. You can't lose to Palace at home, especially in the way we did.
While this is over - our last 4 games: west ham (away) Spurs (home) Villa (away) Wolves (home) we are 8 pts ahead of Villa and 14 pts ahead of spurs who have 2 games in hand. both teams play us and both will want to take 3 pts.
Villa have a tough run in. Plus Euro games. Spurs also have a tough run in. Can't see either of them winning all from here on in, never mind both of them.
Still waiting for the chances to go in and be counted as goals. Had at least a couple today. The defending was at times shocking. The midfield feels like no man's land sometimes. What a shame to have Klopp exit to these performances.
OK… With this latest loss, I’ve become a temporary Arsenal fan…only because I simply don’t want Man Cheaty to win a fourth successive PL title…
Yeah, I'll be pulling for them too. Even if I can't stand that f uck Arteta. Can't stand Citeh getting another title.
Well, you better get used to it, because it is going to happen and those Arsenal fans who leave their own stadium moodily at 88 minutes when losing this close to the end of a title race, can actually just leave now - or, better yet - don;t even leave your houses....
I agree. I realize Brighton are hopeless (unless they're playing us) but it's hard to imagine City dropping anymore points when they're in this mode and with their remaining schedule.
Spurs could be the deciding game changers...mainly because they are the only team that realistically could give Man Cheaties a run... Ars still has ManU and Everton (who will know doubt whimper out against them, especially if their not faced with relegation the last game of the season...) It's going to the wire...too bad we have hit this slump...we could've been right there in it...
Nope. Let the 115ers take it, that might just push the London media over the edge and see them do some real reporting on MC. While it's just us MC are cheating out of titles they just shrug.
Also, then we are disappointed. Arsenal are disappointed. And City are still disapponted at watching Bayern or whoever lift the CL and them not even being in the semi-finals again... while Klopp leaves LFC having reached three finals That'l be like Edward Woodward equalizer stuff IMHO ... disappointment shared all round
Ah - good point...but I've got a feeling ManCheaty are going to go down hard with all these allegations...
6pts up on Villa with 3 to play including at Villa. its not inconceivable that we finish 4th. its hugely unlikely that spurs catch us - they are 15 back with 3 games in hand. Let's pretend they get 9 pts. That would still leave them 6 back - but they also play us.
thanks to Chelsea (words I never thought I'd ever type) Villa are now 8 behind, 3 games to go. wish I could muster a good rebuttal to that .....
general observation after the past 2 weeks .... I'm starting to feel that supporting a football team isn't great for your mental health.
Tottenham’s defeat to Arsenal means Liverpool have qualified for next season’s Champions League - well, barring an extremely unlikely 27-goal swing in goal difference, anyway.— David Lynch (@davidlynchlfc) April 28, 2024
Definitely not on-topic, but I like being a rule breaker living on the edge. Something to cheer us up. One of the greatest ever RAWK posts.
