the guardian has done the math.

    https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...ue-teams-toughest-run-ins-arsenal-villa-luton
We’ve taken the average ranking of each Premier League team’s 10 remaining opponents to see who has the easiest run-in, and who faces the biggest challenge in the season’s final couple of months.

Arsenal will need to keep up their recent form and remain at their very best to stay top, with our model suggesting they have the most difficult run-in of the three title contenders. Mikel Arteta’s side still face difficult trips to Manchester City, Tottenham and Manchester United, as well as potential banana skins at home to Chelsea and Aston Villa and on the road against Brighton and Wolves.

While neither City nor Liverpool have a particularly easy run-in, both have more favourable schedules. City’s is slightly more difficult than Liverpool’s, largely because of their home game against Arsenal at the end of the month, as well as a trip to Tottenham.

Liverpool have to go to rivals Everton and Manchester United, both of whom will be desperate to stop them winning the title, but otherwise their biggest challenges are a home game against Tottenham and a trip to Villa Park on the penultimate day of the season.

The Opta supercomputer is still backing City to win the league but the relative difficulty of the three teams’ remaining fixtures helps put the title race into perspective.

The matches at Everton and Manure are going to be rough to watch for all of us. Woof.

I'm hoping for an arsenal-citeh draw. Allows us a little cushion on both teams when we beat BHA.

So - this weekend brings a chance...

Abu dhabi @ Palace - where they seem to have trouble.

Arsenal @ Brighton - Brighton have been playing better of late.

Liverpool @ Manure - Cup final for Manure.

Palace have just scored their second with 4 minutes left. There’s hope! Only 4-2 now.

    Good thread.

Don't think anyone will be balking this weekend; I predict wins for all 3 title contenders.

Villa are conceding goals... but also scoring them. It's hard to predict they will be able to hold an Arsenal or City, conceded 3 to Brentford today.

I have some misplaced hope with Brighton today.

We can only hope (that word again) that Emery has unfinished business with the Arse and Luiz won’t be a huge loss.

Liverpool vs Manchester City: Doku makes the slightest contact with the ball and assaults Mac Allister with a boot to the chest. No penalty.

Brighton vs Arsenal: Lamptey makes clear contact with the ball, and follows through to make contract with Jesus. Penalty.

For what it’s worth, I think Arsenal should have a penalty there. But it just makes it more clear that Liverpool should have had one against City. If you go by the absurd explanation for why Liverpool didn’t get one, there is no way Arsenal should have one there.

Arsenal defense aren't giving up much, I've been half paying attention but Brighton just don't look threatening.

Arsenal haven't looked amazing in attack either, but are clearly dangerous in comparison.

Doku isn't same level as this, much more of a coming together. I think another ref would/could have given it, but almost every ref is giving this IMO. Clear trip impedes the attacker from continuing.
