Tree Swallow close-up. Two pairs of tree swallows commandeered houses I had built for bluebirds. The two species actually tolerate each other fairly well, they will take up residence in houses only 10' apart, where bluebirds will not let another nesting pair of bluebirds anywhere near that close. I did have a second pair of bluebirds move into a house well away from my first pair of bluebirds and away from the swallow nests. My first pair of BB's had 3 fledglings and started another nest, my second pair is probably close to babies right now. if i am lucky I could have a dozen or so bluebirds soon.
After: A little bit of a change. The big deal is the new pickups and the two volume and tone controls. It sounds like a beast! (And the original pickups sounded aweful!) I got my daughter to draw the Jaguar logo on the headstock. I rule! - Mark
The last comment in this video snippet really makes me laugh: “That’s back court for sure!” He challenged the cop. 1 on 1. The cop called game... https://t.co/NUTRYxi4Nb— Rex Chapman🏇🏼 (@RexChapman) June 5, 2020
Go Ducks! (Actually, the news about unprecedented locust swarms is chilling — spreading from Arabian peninsula to Africa and East Asia) China may send 100,000 ducks to Pakistan to battle locust swarms. Pakistan has declared an emergency saying locust numbers were the worst in more than two decades. A single duck can eat more than 200 locusts a day, more effective than pesticides: experthttps://t.co/h1hRI9y4pt pic.twitter.com/iShCy7Y346— Channa Prakash (@AgBioWorld) June 5, 2020
I want to see a better picture of the bridge. Telecaster bridges are not great, but there’s variations now that are better than the originals. My Jag has a strat-style bridge, which is better than a Jaguar bridge. I’m not convinced on the whamy bar though. I’ve got an Epiphone with the Epiphone Tremtone whammy bar, which is much better than the strat-style whammy. Of course, it would cost thousands to get a guitar the way I want one. So I’ve been tinkering with cheap guitars, trying to get close. And GO QUAKES!!!! Viva el futból!! - Mark
It's a Gotoh "In-Tune" bridge with compensated brass saddles. I'm not a fanatic about intonation, but so far have no issues with this one. I've also got a Fender tele standard (MIM) with the six-saddle "modern" bridge. Frankly, I can't say I have a favorite between them. They both do just fine. I've had strat-style bridges, a Jazzmaster, many tune-o-matics with stoptail, PRS "strat-style" and Gibson wraparound bridges. They all have their pluses and minuses... FYI, I'm sort of embarrassed to admit how many guitars, basses, amps, and associated gear I have. Most of my refereeing money over the past ten years or so has gone into this, and I've managed to build up a collection that's too big for our home!
