So he won the EL and Chelsea let him go. I don't think anyone is going to remember the 2018-19 Chelsea side as anything special.
And hopefully he'll be one and done here like he was with them. This season has been annoying as f*ck, and it starts with him (and the upper management).
I'm hanging in there. I've been following the club, as always, but from afar... mostly because of the way this ridiculous season has gone so far. I've just had a lot of responsibilities at home, so I haven't had much time to post, and the way this season's gone, I don't think I would add much by way of conversation. I'd contribute rage, frustration, and bitterness, yes, but conversation and discussion, no. After this week, I should have more time to post like I used to. So you'll be hearing more from me, @Falc. I know you missed me.
I don't understand the complaints. Allegri didn't have the team kicking on all cylinders. The monotonous nature of the league being dominating by Juve for the past 8 years makes it even more difficult to motivate. This season is more competitive with several good teams. Things have changed and Juve is adapting. Blaming in squarely on Sarri and upper management is ridiculous. Champions League has been good... It's not all bad.
Those of you who have been calling for the return of Vidal, he is past his shelf life. What was in the past is in the past. Probably the same with Pogba.
I won't disagree on Vidal, but Pogba is 26...He still have probably 6 more world class years if he is healthy and at a different team of course. However if stays at United, he may have trouble ever reaching his potential that was shown at Juventus.
Vidal is old; and he has always been stupid. Pogba is still young and was one of the lone bright spots for United before he got hurt. Big difference between the two.
Pogba has an idiot for a manager who cares more about his bottom line than what is good for his clients. Pogba will be able to live his life in a good manner as long as he does not blow away his riches but like the great Zlatan, will not be that Ballon d'Or player he was striven to become when he arrived as a young man at Juve. He has become the typical Raiola showman.
Agreed, Raiola doesn't know when to shut his mouth! With that agreement, Raiola doesn't tell his clients where to move and when to move. He probably advises them where he can get money and where he can't get money for his clients. Ultimately, it is up to the player/club to move the player right? Unfortunately, Pogba wanted to leave for United. Zlatan is Zlatan and Balotelli is Balotelli. He also manages players like De Ligt, Veratti, Matuidi, Haaland, Gigio Donnarumma and Nedved during his playing days. All of whom seem to have their heads on straight in my opinion.
And has made a ton of the money in the process. We may not like Raiola, but he gets the job done for his clients.
After Vidal was ejected from yesterday's match, he shouted "Forza Juve" to the Napoli supporters sending them in a rage
Instead of playing in front no one or closing the doors to fans, why don't Inter, Juventus and Atlanta play in southern cities? There are more Juventini and Interisti in most of Southern Italy than in either Torino or Milan. They will sell many tickets playing in Palermo, for example...
What do people see in el clasico? I've watched quite a few over the past few years and they've all been mind numbingly boring, today's is no different
