    A break from basketball talk...I now lump Detroit with diving pu##y teams like Montreal and Vancouver...seeing Detroit turtle on more than on occasion through 2 games is enough for me...they're a good team, well coached, etc and they may end up winning the series, but they're still a bunch of softies, plus they grab and hold at EVERY opportunity....yeah Lucic was a b#tch to spear thar guy in the nuts but I think he'd had with all of Detroit's chippiness up to that point GO BRUINS

    Why not? Mayhew's drafting has been decent, we still have an all-world WR that we just got some help for in FA, and if we can add just a few more pieces, we'll be a very good team. Don't believe that "Lions are cursed" crap, all it does is becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. If the fans don't believe in the team, it's no wonder we never accomplish anything.

    Because it's one thing to make up obviously scripted crap like this and a totally different thing to have an actual grudge match to go to. They're obviously just trying to get publicity that no one in Canada would otherwise care about.

    It's like those fake BVB fans spray painting the Allianz last year and turning the lights yellow. So fake and doesn't do anything.

    Lions are cursed and the curse is called 'the ford family'. We couldn't even reach the super bowl with arguably the greatest football player of all time. The Lions broke Barry Sanders ffs.

    LOL at you thinking he can't. And also LOL at the guy who's talking about winning playoff games when his QB is Jay Cutler. Stafford played damn good in his playoff debut against New Orleans, except for that the defence couldn't stop a tumbleweed.

    Jay Cutler won a single playoff game in a storied career. And Jim Schwartz and his lackey Linehan led the Lions choke charge by failing to make successful adjustments at HT. Everyone out coached Schwartz, which is why we choked away so many HT leads. When its happening so consistently, it has to be a systemic problem not down to any one player.

    Cutler did it with ********ing Lovie as his head coach. Schwartz doesn't tell Stafford to make dumb throws, Stafford makes those dumb throws himself.

    At least Lovie knows how to coach good defence. And Schwartz certainly didn't help by pretending that everything was fine and dandy with Stafford's erratic footwork and appointing a QB coach that had zero coaching experience on the offensive side of the ball. And a lot of those his INTs were really just bad luck and not his fault, like Calvin dropping a ball right into the hands of a DB.

    And a lot of his throws were overthrows and way off target and should have been picked off, so it balances out.

    And a lot of his throws hit receivers in the hands and they still just outright dropped it. Check the Lions' drop rate, we top that stat every time.
