🗣️: “We have launched a study on a phenomenon that everyone says happens, but if it does, I don't think the state can recognize the existence of “made up” capital gains." #Juventus - Giorgetti, Minister of Economy 🗣️— Bianconeri Zone (@BianconeriZone) February 10, 2023
On Thursday there was the first technical round table meeting between the Government, FIGC and the League to standardise a law regarding capital gains. The paradox is that a law is discussed but Juve have already been punished in advance by it. [Tuttosport] #Juventus— Juventus News Live (@juvenewslive) February 10, 2023
How can this even be done? How do you determine the "real" value of a player other than by looking at what a buyer agrees to pay for him?
Anyone read the latest leaks coming out of the prisma investigation? If these are real, than it is cringeworthy at best. I hope it will end soon, so we can move on. Bunch of clowns these guys were.
Remind me again why Juve are paying for Itaharren to get arrested for assault? Terminate this dudes contract, its clear his off field issues will never let him go.
If he did not report to the club, I don't think they have to pay his salary. Ajax tried to rehab him and failed.
🗣️: “We've been talking about it for many years but nobody can find a solution. I await enlightenment from those who are there to judge. I think there is no objective data in swap deals”#Juventus - Gravina / @TuttoMercatoWeb pic.twitter.com/Sm35twIZGM— Bianconeri Zone (@BianconeriZone) February 14, 2023
He is right. No way to find any objective data other than what a willing seller and buyer agree is the price.
Serie A CEO Luigi de Siervo: "Juventus case? Shouldn't have happened during the season: it is an element of alteration of the championship. So far only hypothesis of crime: I hope that the penalty will be reconsidered because it is asymmetrical both at the European and Italian level."
I see where Mo Ihatteran has showed up in Turin for training. I give it three months before he leaves Juve for good.
I don't think he can play, can he? I guess he is just parking himself till a new home is found: https://football-italia.net/troubled-talent-ihattaren-resumes-training-with-juventus/
Appeals officially filed. I have little confidence in the Italian "justice" system, but here goes: https://football-italia.net/official-agnelli-paratici-and-arrivabene-file-appeals-to-coni/
Italian as well as many judges are usually corrupt and are also fans of other teams. I also am not confident they will vote in Juve’s favor.
A verdict on the appeal will take about 60 days lol. it’s been reported that the plusvalenza impacted Juve’s balance sheet by 3.6%, all of which was taxed.
If they have to wait another 60 days that means it will be at the end of May. The last game of the season is June 4th, 2023 so it's cutting close to the end of the 2022-23 season. I’m sure it will be nice if Juve regains 15 points but at that point, the majority of the games will have been played and the tactical approach to certain matches will or could be different. If for example if Atalanta , Lazio, Roma , Milan or Inter are playing to gain a CL spot. they will be playing without knowing what the standings look like. I mean aside from Juve’s points being deducted, it won’t be great for other clubs as well not knowing the end verdict or their place in the standings.
Doesn't really matter since there's going to be another trial soon for the salaries shit and Juve will likely be deducted even more points. At the end of the day even if this 15 point deduction is overturned, which I doubt, there will likely be an equal or more severe points penalty coming soon anyways.
It really is a vendetta at this point. And even if it is found we didd something, it was not "illegal" at the time. Ex post facto law, which hasn't even been passed yet because there is no way of determining the "true vale" of a player other than what a buyer and seller agree to.
The whole thing comprises the entire season. It is a joke. You don't see this kind of BS happening in other leagues or even with other clubs within our league. ONLY Juventus. How can you only punish only one side to a series of 2 sided transactions? Yet the appearance of impropriety has been created by this even after we had been exonerated because there can be no objective standard applied to what we are being accused of.
I suppose if we get our 15 points back at this he end of the season. The team that then drops out of the last champions league spot will appeal. It could be n very ending lol
Some good news... TAR (Regional Administrative Court) agrees with Juve against the FIGC: after a series of denials, Juve's lawyers will finally be able to access the correspondence between Covisoc and prosecutor Chiné in April 2021. A decisive act for the appeal to CONI. [@mirkonicolino] #Juventus— Juventus News Live (@juvenewslive) March 7, 2023 The Lazio Regional Administrative Court has upheld the appeal filed by Fabio Paratici & Federico Cherubini: the letter from the Federal Prosecutor's Office to Covisoc with interpretative clarifications on the capital gains affair will have to be delivered to the defence lawyers.— Juventus News Live (@juvenewslive) March 7, 2023
