It's a must win. I wonder if they can pull it off.

The kick-off time is moved from 20:00 to 15:00 (local, GMT+5) by Fifa's decision. So now, the temperature is expected to be -6, -8 degrees.

Mitch Nichols scored a completely legitimate goal, and it was ruled out.

.............it's not an accidentally bad decision, it's more like a "welcome to what the AFC is all about australia!"

What a joke. Two goals disallowed, great spirit from our guys totally unrewarded.

I saw the second one which was def a joke. Apparently the first was offside, was it legit?

My stream was dodgy as all get-out but I couldn't see any grounds for disallowal, neither could the commentator.

I just watched some dodgey highlights on youtube ([ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wb9kGtllipg"]Uzbekistan vs Australia: Asian Qualifiers 2012, (Round 3 -Match day 4) - YouTube[/ame]).. There wasn't a hint of offside at all. The assistant ref didn't even look like flagging it.

And we'll have to somehow tear Ryan, Amini, Nichols etc from their club's cold, dead hands as the playoffs are within days of the GF. Trainwreck.

    Our last four games:

    AUS 0-0 UAE
    AUS 0-0 UZB
    IRQ 0-0 AUS
UZB 2-0 AUS < we had two goals disallowed in that one, but still, we're pretty terrible

That good then , UAE U23 never win at home and today they will be under big pressure and without big key player in Midfiled Area , Australia U23 will take care of this , I see them playing great counters and score first .

We will keep our fingers crossed but the best we can hope for from this group is to win our last two games and hope for a result in the other game to be played. That will get us a playoff spot. A draw in the Uzbek/UAE game (and provided we win both games) will see us with a three way tie. If this happens and we improve our goal difference by 7 we can still win the group, though considering how we haven't scored in 4 games so far this is extremely unlikely. Both games will be tough as both teams we are playing are still in the hunt as well.
