Well done Pachucha! I enjoyed the game and the tourney. Not bad for a first year, ad-hoc tournament. Hopefully next year its DC in the final. Hope to see you guys in the CCC!

 

Congrats, Pachuca. Was it Rey that was kept the Gals onside, headed the ball back into the center of the field, and then didnt stick his head in the way when it came back his way for the tying goal? Plus, Mezas substitutions left his team lacking offensive spark in the extra time, he shouldnt of taken out Alvarez just to take off some time that the ref was going to compensate for anyways. I thought Gimenez was invisible for the most part, its amazing how badly Pachuca played and yet they still managed to win. Their finishing was atrocious. Theres a reason why Morelia let Marquez go, and he proved it about two times last night against the Gals goalie, who himself had a great game. Calero did a great job of channeling the Calero of old, im curious if its just a fluke or continue to be solid back there. LOL at ********van, its pretty apparent by now that he only takes his Viagra against the Mexican national team. MLS lifer right there. And i hope Xavier learned his lesson, a weird hairstyle doesnt make one a competent footballer.

With the conclusion of this farce of a tournament, Mexican teams posted a 3-3-4 record. Not great but not bad either considering how they were all away games against dirty teams/organizations.
