    ... Even more so now ... http://www.elgrafico.com/index.php?dest=true&art=21198

After the remarkable come back in the second leg v Panamá in the second round (they lost the first leg 1-0) - went one down early doors, before leaving it until 70 mins to score, then another, then Luis Anaya scored in last minute http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gfEnseNEsE they have now passed from the third round into the HEX already, which as we know all too well De Los Cobos' home nation hasn't done yet ....

He is important part of that Águila team which is a run away leader this season, breaking records etc...

We have two new kids playing in Europe. Plascencia use to play for Chivas and Sanchez plays for a club in Texas. Does anyone know if this kid Sanchez was born in the US?

Not sure where Sanchez was born but both were discovered while playing for one of Mexico's youth teams at a tournament in Europe. At this point, even if Sanchez is a U.S citizen, it would be hard for the Americans to pry him away from Mex, being that he came up through the Mex side.

Sanchez is 1.90 cm, which is about 6'6", so his height is what got him noticed. Looks like Memo may not be the future senior team goalie after all, if this kid pans out.

Here she is in a game from the first round of the Women's UEFA Cup between her club Naftokhimik and Thessaloniki (back in September). Naftokhimik won, 1-0. Though they led their group in the first round, Naftokhimik didn't make it beyond the second round of the tournament.
