Allow me to offer a bit of insight into their careers. Llano Collera, with Atletico Deva, has spent his better years in the lower Spanish divisions. In fact, just last season his team managed to promote from the regional leagues of Cantabria to the third tier. Humberto Andrade is currently second-man to Guillermo Hoyos, an Argentine who took coached four Mexican youngsters while managing REDH--An academy club in Spain. Now, Elizalde and Rodríguez, have not done much in South America. Elizalde, received very few call ups to the first squad last year and it is unclear if he's still with Bella Vista. Rodríguez, as far as I know, has yet to debut with Sportivo Italiano. I'll give you guys an updated list of Mexicans abroad. In the mean time, please visit embajadoresaztecas.org for more info.

On Wednesday night Arturo Albarrán scored from the spot as Alianza drew 1-1 with Once Municipal (El Salvador). The game was reasonably polemic, as the equaliser was also a penalty, awarded in the 5th minute of injury time, there were a total of 4 red cards shown and Alianza had 2 goals ruled out. report here

Re: Martin perez in Spain Current champions...of the Copa Confederación, which is not that prestigious if you ask me. In EmbajadoresAztecas we have a detailed article about Martín's achievement. When I first came across this player, back in his days with Ponte Ourense (2004), I considered him as being in the early stages of a promising career. If I'm not mistaken, he was heralded as a noteworthy forward. The truth remains, however, that he hasn't developed as expected. I'd be surprised if Ourense keeps him at season's end. That being said, I expect him to wander off in Tercera División à la Jaime Cuesta. This has already been suggested, but I think this thread would be better off if merged with ''The Official 'Others' Thread.''
