Okay so, the past is the Past what can we do now to get that freaking point we need, cuz i don't want to wait till Honduras.. then we will be in trouble.. Glad Guardado is back, but now no Rafa..

Also what has to happen so that we can qualify by losing the next two games.. can't believe i just said that in only la segunda ronda..

    Mexico........ 9 +4
    Honduras..... 9 +4
    Jamaica....... 4 -4
    Canada........ 1 -4

Ok so Jamaica can still do 10 points, and playing well they can make up the goal difference against Canada who has nothing to lose. so i think even one point can put us in hardship.. we need a win.. badly.. it's still in our hands so... If we can't win.. Lets hope Jamaica loses or ties one of it's remaining games..

Remember Salcido is also out for this game because of two yellows, and Osorio left the Jamaica match early so who knows if he is good to go for this match. Atleast Guardado comes back.

But if we lose Rafa,Salcido AND Osorio we could be in serious trouble.

We would be talking about a Line of four consisting of

    Magallon-Galindo-Moreno-Pinto

Talk about a makeshift Defense, but honestly the real problem is that Oswaldo is officially the slave of the golazos. Its a curse that still hasn't been lifted off of him, but we would be dreaming to think Ochoa would start this game....god can only be so merciful.

Good news: Our best offensive player is back, Guardado returns.

Looks like he will start again at leftwing which brings up the question....who plays as Striker/9?

Do you move Vela back to Striker? Do you bench Vela and Start Bravo? Or hell maybe start Vouso? Should be interesting to see what Sven chooses to do.

Oh and to bench Vela and still let Giovani start would be CRIMINAL, but then again do we have another player that can play rightwinger? Not really, i like Arellano but i doubt Sven will start him over Giovani.

Looks like were gonna have to suffer for the ticket to the next round.

Wrong we need Bofo. He can change the game at any moment. It's his time to shine.

Salcido served his suspension against Canada. He is back to one card.
Other players with one card are Vela, Magallon, Arce.

    My line up:

    -------------Ochoa--------------
    Osorio----Galindo--Magallon--Salcido
    Arce-----Torrado--Correa----Vela
    -------Arellano--Vuoso----------

-Just when we think Ochoa will be the starter, Hugo gets sacked and Chucho puts Oswaldo in against Argentina giving Sven the idea that he is the starter. F'k!!!

    - Hopefully Osorio comes back if not Oscar Rojas will do, but don't expect great passes from him.

-Galindo is solid, Magallon is meh but we got no one else

-Salcido is playing like sh*t but I don't trust Fausto Pinto with big tall physical teams on the road.

-Midfield: F'k Luis Perez. You know its not Sven who saw him and said he could play. it was f'kn Paco Ramirez. Correa and Torrado played good together at Copa America they've proven themselves.

-We need to play with two up front and stop with this so called 4-3-3 that looks more like a 4-5-1. Last pairing that worked relatively well for us was a target man and a speedy guy (Cacho, Nery). How about Vuoso and Arellano.

    Probable lineup

    --------------Oswaldo-------------
    Osorio?---Galindo--Magallon--Salcido
    --------Arce--Torrado--Perez------
    Nico Olivera----------------Vela---
    ----------------Bravo---------------

Vamos Mexico!! a la verga con Oswaldo! Correa needs a chance, how come he didn't call Cacho nor DeNigirs, both these guys have done better than the the the two "mercernarios" guille or vuoso, when they have played... and they serve as a good target for the guys coming on the wings...

    If we're playing 4-4-2...

    -----------------Ochoa----------------

    -Rojas----Magallon----Galindo---Salcido

    -Arce-----Torrado-----Perez---Guardado

    -------------Ochoa----Vela-------------

The midfield is horrible...Eriksson called up 9 defenders and only 6 midfield? If anything, our defence has been the strongest point in the Mexican squad, our midfield has definitely been our weakness for a while..we need Bofo....

probably the best lineup we can produce. but
i'm sure you're forgetting about guardado?

he would obviously take velas spot in this lineup,
so would we send arellano to the bench to give
    carlitos another chance?

He got a yellow against Belize and against Jamaica at Azteca.

He served his suspension against Canada

    He got a yellow yesterday

So that means he is back to 1 card

    Yes I forgot about Principito

    -------------Ochoa--------------

    Arce-----Torrado--Correa--Guardado
    -----------Vela--Vuoso----------

    Would Sven really change formations?

he's used the 4-3-3 for the first 3 games.

Honestly the 4-2-2 works better since our only rightwinger has been doing jack shit in the 4-3-3(Giovani)

Im gonna guess he stays with the 4-3-3

    --------------------------------Ochoa---------------------------------
    Osorio-----------------Galindo----------------Magallon----------Salcido
    --------------------------------Torrado-------------------------------
    --------------------Arce----------------------Perez-------------------
    Giovani------------------------------------------------------Guardado
    ---------------------------------Vela---------------------------------

This isnt what i want to see its what i think we will see. Its obvious that Sven has a hard-on for Giovani and Vela. They have playing like shit since the beginning of this round and he still hasn't benched them so i have no reason to believe he will now.

Honestly i like your lineup much better but i doubt he will change.

    Anyways, we'll see.

EDIT: Lol NVM i just saw that you said this is YOUR line-up not Probable line-up

    Rafa went back to Barcelona

If Salcido wasn't playing they would have mentioned his return to the Netherlands.

I doubt it mosquito, it's actually not really a "Canadian" thing to do, from the previous games you could notice that team is not particularly "leñernos". It's hard to tell if they are going to come out trying to play for pride or not

I think somebody mentioned Salcido already stayed out on the first Canada game, so he should be playing
