"Report: MLS Re-Entry Draft selection Marvell Wynne joins San Jose Earthquakes" (Center Line Soccer - Saturday, 1/24/15) (Joe Nuxoll | Center Line Soccer) GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Hopefully he gets moved to RB and holds it down for the next couple years. I thought that was his best position. Wasn't impressed with his move to CB, thought it was a waste of his talent.
Is Pintos coming back? Ideally not, and this would make sense. If we are signing Wynne to be depth, I dunno.

Wynne and Victor will be a nice pairing on the right side. They complement each other well. Props to JD / Kinnear for this signing.
I always know a Ferrari is fast but I don't comprehend how fast it really is until it is mine for driving.
Every time I see him play I think "wow, he looks really good! How did we pick him up?" I just read the Rapids thread and most were sad to see him go, but guess he was pulling in a Jason Hernandez salary and not worth that.
I don't really remember his dad as an MLB player. Seems that he was just kind of OK - like a .240-something hitter and not great power, and didn't have that long of a career. I do remember Jim Wynne, who played for Houston, etc., but is some 15+ years older than Marvell's dad. Don't think they are related, and not to be confused with Randy Winn, who played for the Giants like 5-10 years ago? Just a real wynnsome group of athletes. #duh_wynneing
Dad was a left handed hitter. He was really fast like his son. Good base stealer and could cover the outfield. Light hitter though and bounced around. Marvell Junior looks bigger in the chest than Dad did.
Yeah, junior is kind of barrel-chested - unusual for a soccer player. He might have done better as a defensive back or something in football, but he picked a much better sport, so it's all good.
