Taking my daughter and myself shopping. We may spend as much or more as I would have spent on plane and hotel tickets.

Moving the time of Wilmington United's playoff match to 1 PM so I can be home to watch the cup. We will be wearing all black.

Hey Nancy, I was just over at the Soccer Pro Shop last nite in Fairfax (the same shopping ctr where hooters is) and it looked to me like the just got a large shipment of new DCU jerseys in. Both home and away. Just and FYI. hehehe.

Leaving work early, dropping Lanky off at Dulles Friday afternoon, heading home to get started on my list of weekend outdoor chores & errands. Result: Lanky will be on his way to witness victory, my wife will be happy things are completely done around the house and this will enable me to be totally free Sunday afternoon.

Fixed your post. LOL! I dont think ANYONE would want to buy anything ummm

    newjersey.

    :p

As for me, im just biding my time until sunday, when ill gonna bring it as loud and as proud as I do for a match at RFK, only this time itll be Baileys. Hey, not as good as being there no, but a large group of DCU supporters watching together on a big screen and making LOTS OF NOISE is the next best thing ! :D

I think I will get up early take the dogs for a nice long walk through the state park, get home clean up the house a bit, ice down the case of beer I bought the day before, fire up the grill about 2PM and have myself a mini at home tailgate....of course it won't be the same without the fire department and the several hundred DC fans but.... :(

I'll be at Bailey's with as many people as I can entice from this end of the 270 corridor.

Nah, I had two choices on the day. Go to the in laws and have dinner or stay at home to watch the match.
Although the in laws are great and would not care if I watched the match I would be in a house with 6 kids, 5 adults (all pointy ball fans) and being served dinner at 4:30-5pm)

so.....with lack of car...hitchiking to Baileys is out of the question

Anyone feel like driving up to Baltimore to pick me up?
Of course I'd need a ride back as well....

Retail therapy here, too: I just bought that away jersey that I've been wanting for so long.

I'm gonna drink heavily, so Bailey's - or anyplace else that requires driving - is out. The at home tailgate thing will probably happen here. Until then, enjoying a 4 day weekend!

I'm going to celebrate the holiday my friends and I made up. I should be back in town Sunday in time for the game.

I guess that means drinking as well!

Cancel that and wait until D.C. United 2004 MLS Cup Champions shirts are printed. Rapids and Revs fans proudly wear conference champions shirts.
