Yes...That's also what the BBC called them. But other than that, they were mostly reporting the truth.
Yeah, they would just die if the French got the nod. Maybe some conspiracy theorists will say the U.S. was behind the Paris rejection.
It's not just Fox people... Network News as Counter-Reality by Steven Laffoley Now we're getting somewhere; when we acknowledge that the "news" has an entirely different agenda from useful/actionable information for a citizen looking to maximize her/his participation, her/his public life, we've begun to peek under the buns of this crap sandwich we've been given/given ourselves, to smell it for what it really is...
Are you angry that another liberal network didn't get him as a sports announcer or that conservative Fox did? "How good was Tiki Barber Tuesday filling in for Steve Doocy?" Fox & Friends http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,148377,00.html
Hitler was old-fashioned fascism. He's talking about neofascism. Different animal. You'll certainly notice the neo prefix
I was in our cafeteria at lunch yesterday, and they had Fox News on. I couldn't tell you who it was or which program, but the female anchor was pointing out that it was this day (yesterday) in whatever year it was that Rome burned. As she was ending her little "history in a minute" blurb, she made an obviously scripted (she was reading off the teleprompter) remark that Nero blamed a group of religious fanatics for the blaze, and that "Christians have been persecuted ever since". I almost spit out my iced tea.
Why are you so threatened by a news channel? It isn't on non-cable television. It isn't mandatory to watch. It is usually hidden in the high numbered channels. Yet for some reason, you lefties seem to think it has some divine influence on the whole of the country.
we are only threatened by fox masquerading as a news channel, and nobody thinks they influence the whole country... but they sure as hell influence a lot of sheep that can vote
What pissed me off is how it claims to be "fair and balanced." Ever seen Outfoxed? Rupert Murdoch is a biatch.
