I will admit I enjoy these video clips about the players. As of fan I can get a glimpse of the type of person they are off the field.

 

Certainly looks like the stayed at the Hilton.

I read Andy Rios last years salary was $939,250.

Just read on Facebook that someone heard a rumor about Andy Rios dating Almeyda’s daughter.

It’s probably true otherwise I don’t see how this guy is still on the field!

He is probably setting them up with a nice little $900k nest egg.

I guess we have to go with that but there is no denying Almeyda gave him a sweeet $1 million deal to come here.

He doesn't even deserve 1/4 of that contract.....

 

I don't think Almeyda does contract negotiations.

 

Unfair to speculate, but hey it's never stopped us before! It's almost as if Jesse is a bit of a pushover. Almeyda gets him to sign his guys, and then he gets played by those players' agents.

 

Either way Rios is crap and paying him $1 million in this league, especially for getting nothing in return , is ludicrous.

That is all on Almeyda because he brought him here and whichever way you look at it, he is responsible for him (Rios) as well as the teams performance.

I seriously doubt Jesse had much say or knowledge of him or any of the Mexican or Argentine players as he never saw them play like Matias did. I mean with the exception of a few of John Doyle’s you tube highlight videos…

He's dropped off from a not-too-terrible year last year, both in terms of effectiveness as a goal-scorer, and more importantly, in terms of his pass completion. This reinforces that through the 11 games played this season he has been worse than useless - he's been a turnover machine.

 

Sadly, pass completion / distribution - i.e. what he does with the ball when he gets it is one of the things he does well - maybe the only thing. I'm guessing that the drop in % is due to him moving further towards the goal, now that Chofis is the CAM. His biggest problems are just not getting on the ball enough and blowing chances.

 

I got a little scared when I opened this and there was a report saying breaking. I think this means we can move Rios stuff to the former/where are they now thread. I wish him well, but the thought he was coming back was not a welcome one, no matter how low the price!
