Every Scandinavian league is terrible but this guy could be the first ever half-decent player to come from that part of the world, so we should all be excited.

 

Henrik Larsson, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Freddie Ljungberg, Tomas Brolin all came from Scandinavian leagues. So he wouldn't be the first one.

Look. Top European clubs have educated, smart, experienced scouts. And almost all of them were fapping for this guy I don't know if you are a scout but if not, you're opinion worth nothing.

 

AAAAHHHH the old "this player is from a non soccer country" story. I always hate how people and teams rate players based on their nationality.

If you are from brazil or Argentina, your path to Europe is so easy and teams pay a shitload for you, but players from other countries have to prove themselves for a long time to get any credit. Not hating on Brazilians or Argies since those countries produce top notch players, just saying that a player should be judged solely on his ability.

 

Ever since I became an American citizen, I gained 100 lb. True. Because you know, all Americans are fat.

 

I am not at all optimistic that this kid is going to make it at Real Madrid. There are too many players ahead of him now and will be for the foreseeable future. By the time he gets his chance at first team football he will be long gone.

I especially don't understand the logic of having him train with the first team if he will be playing with la Castilla. I'm sure it was a stipulation to his contract with us but is exactly the kind of pandering we should avoid with a teenager. It will only hamper his development and could cause animosity within the club.

I think this was more of an ego/prestige signing from Perez to get one over on the Bayern's and ManU's and prove once again we can sign who we want when we want. Too bad for this kid that he's just a political pawn and he probably doesn't even know it yet, but there's no real plan for him. Best of luck to him it's the big time now.
