Good luck in shipping the next few years. South Korea is the worlds largest shipbuilder and the 2 largest shipbuilding companies in the world are South Korean.

PS: The thing about shipyards is that they tend to be near ports so my guess is that Korea's shipbuilding industry is centered around Busan which is as far from the north as you can get.

Hopefully he won't call it a crusade like Bush did.

We're already affected by everything else he and his supporters have done. May as well spread the wealth.

My shipping is confined to eBay items these days.

I hope he does, should it come to pass (which I actually doubt). I've said all along that Trump is going to have to be stupid enough for even the stupid mofos who supported him to get it. Whatever has to happen for them to understand, needs to happen.

Sadly, it won't spread up the economic chain, because no one is going to vote for a draft without deferrments

By "the wealth", I meant the fallout from war as a whole. If it can happen here, it'll happen to all of us to a larger degree than if it all happens somewhere else.

Does anyone else think that Trump is just "Wagging the Dog" here.
Nothing major has changed with the missile thing I a couple weeks yet suddenly Trump goes ballistic uttering wild threats of fire and fury.

Funny that this coincided with Mueller demanding papers and the report of the Manfort raid. Then today "Trumps lawyer" releases statements condemning that raid.

Deflection maybe. It it's just a little too pat.

Not as a calculated thing. Whatever he says about North Korea doesn't change what Mueller and 10 other lawyers are doing. Plus, Trump doesn't do calculations. It's just his latest outlet for when he's feeling pissy, which happens pretty much daily, of course.

In Trumps addled mind, a good war would help to at least delay Mueller until he comes up with another brilliant play.

With Trump it is instinctual rather than calculating. Like mammal babies knowing how to suck or more appropriately, moths flying into flames.

‘President BoneSpur is playing war’: Internet horrified by Trump’s ‘locked and loaded’ North Korea threat

President Donald Trump on Friday continued making threats toward North Korea — and he said that the United States military was prepared to attack if Kim Jong-un’s government didn’t change its behavior.

“Military solutions are now fully in place, locked and loaded, should North Korea act unwisely,” the president wrote. “Hopefully Kim Jong Un will find another path!”

Somebody else thinks I may be right. :)

Why Trump Is Beating the War Drum—and How It Could Lead to Disaster
It’s sure to win favor among hawks of both parties, while distracting the media and public from his domestic woes—but foreign powers are not backing down.

Trump thought he'd get himself a win by bullying the other madman into backing down. Something to crow to the media about. Instead he's risking war.

Looks like Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran isn't enough. They're Dubya's wars. Trump is set on NorKor and now Venuzuala. There was Syria but he turned that over to Putin.
He says he won't rule out military options there.

I'm curious as to what the sourcing is for this, beyond a Japanese news report.

One also has to wonder about sabotage by US or someone else in these cases. Or North Korean incompetence. Or both.
