Impressive stats! What Bale lacks is any kind of skill, Nani wins. But he's a great passer though, very precise.
Are you infering that Bale has no skill whatsoever? Becuase that is absurb. He doesnt have the raw, natural skill as Nani, but to say he lacks any kind of skill is outrageous
This debate will never have a conclusion, both are great, young wingers. Bale seems more powerful to me, but Nani more tricky.
absolutely. that hell toe that Ronaldo perfected wasnt too shabby either. made Maicon look like, well, me.
Haha, Bale is definately on the rise. I'm hoping Liverpool's new owners can persuade him that the ressurection of Liverpool is a perfect way for Bale to become an Anfield legend. I'd love Nani at Liverpool too, but that just wouldn't happen.
Comparing the two, Nani is more skillful. Though Gale is a fast bugger and he does have precise passing.
Quiet here for a while... Nani back from injury today. Naturally, an assist and a cracker goal for the 2-1 win... His left foot is getting better and better. One of these days defenders might actually not be so eager to give him the shot with the "weaker" foot... http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/nani-stoke-8060833/ Chicharito's goal wasn't bad either... ;-) http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/javier-hernandez-stoke-8060534/
I honestly didn't think he would turn out to be this good after watching him at Sporting, and his first couple years in England did nothing to change my opinion. I thought he was indecisive in the final third, with poor crosses and decision-making in particular. I would have bet money that Anderson would be United's best signing in the summer of 07 from Portugal, not Nani, and that's not just cause I'm a Porto fan. I really have to give United a lot of credit for his development, as he's turned into a cracking footballer.
I disagree. I thought he was special from the first few times I saw him play. The only problem he had was he was a bit scrawny. I don't think I'll ever forget that goal he had against Boavista where the defenders ran into each other chasing him. I think he might be the best under-rated player in the world.
It depends what you mean by that well. He could have done better, especially after the transfer rumors started, but he was always one of the better players in the squads that Paulo Bento coached.
What Vila said. I wasn't saying that he put in world-class performances, but you could see that he was gifted, the same way you could see it from the few times Ronaldo had a crack at the senior squad.
He was always a stand out player for me when I first saw him at Sporting. You could tell his ball handing ability was in a class of its own, and that saying something for a Sporting player, who are generally all very good with the ball across all areas of the pitch.
Luis Nani is officially on twitter http://twitter.com/luisnani Like most celebs do, Gotta explore the social networking to promote their business!
horror tackle on Nani...gets Carragher a feeble yellow card [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeFYMVqlLz0&feature=related"]YouTube - Nani Injury Brutal Tackle Jamie Carragher - Liverpool 3 v 1 Manchester United March 2011[/ame] [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NpOx1Ul155k"]YouTube - Nani injury (brutal tackle by Jamie Carragher) - Liverpool vs Manchester United (3-1) 06.03.2011[/ame]
Terrible challenge. Funny that Nani falls down, gets up, chases and yells at the ref, then falls back down to cry. But should have been a straight red. Anyone check out Nani's assist to Kuyt?
Think with injuries like those, the adrenaline (protects) prevents you from feeling the pain immediately.
Liked how Nani responded this weekend to the -massive- POTY snub. Assists in both goals - pure class. One showing off his mad skills in close-range dribbling and ball control, the 2nd pace and balance. http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/dimitar-berbatov-fulham-8996405/ http://www.101greatgoals.com/videodisplay/antonio-valencia-fulham-8996410/
