Take a breathe from the Hernandez thread.

Simply put, for me that miss changed nothing for Hernandez at Madrid.

He's still a reliever for Benz and possibly for Jese. Anyone actually believing he would ever bench Benz is living in a fantasy.

Hernandez will always be a SS and what's wrong with that? He's best utilized that way.

That thread is unreadable...I disagree with you regarding super sub status though...he proved at ManU that he is better with more playing time and is an effective starter...getting RVP and benching Chicharito is what skewed this perspective...and now ManU is paying for it...instead of addressing what was a real need (namely mid and defense) they added more strikers ...and one who is oft injured (RVP)...ManU these last two years was run terribly.

I feel like CR7 and Bale are not used to a forward making good runs. Cheech was in good position a lot and it seemed that they passed to one another rather than to Cheech who put the other team in difficult defensive situations.

This is it pretty much. The team itself is not used to playing for an actual 9 so unless he gets back to the clinical finisher he was the first years at Man u, his role at Madrid will be that of a super sub.

Yesterday's mids Isco and Illara are not starters and are just now getting into a competitive rhythm, that too could be a cause as to why he had no one to pass him the ball and complete his runs.

Overall he did pretty well in the first half but his miss will, of course, always be the highlight whenever he doesn't score. He's doing just fine for having been only a month with the team.

I agree with your post somewhat but really is that the excuse that will forever be used to defend him.. The no service is getting old to be honest.

I'm really not defending him. Being completely rational and objective he was having a good game setting up chances but he did not get any service. It would be one thing if he had several chances and missed but he only had 2 this game. 1st was a header the keeper saved and the 2nd was his miss.

Nonetheless he had service, whether we made the most of his opportunities is on him. I'm not bashing him he played decent but its in him for not scoring is my piont.

    Bad weekend for Mexicans Abroad.

The only good thing was Moreno given the green light.

It comes down to him having bad representation. A lot of teams are looking for a keeper this transfer window in January. I'm sure he'll end up somewhere.

I want to become a mod in this section and I want to rule with an iron fist. I find it really annoying when people keep going OT in threads or bring other players in. Make an example out of someone and put all these ducks in line.

Would be a lot easier if he had a euro passport but even with that against him, he should be able to get something

    Needs a better agent

Your option 2 hits the nail in the head. This scenario is likely to happen, imo.

Chich is barely getting scraps at RM and United (LvG) doesn't rate him. I think he is in a different club (not name United or RM) by the start of the new season, imo. Lets hope it isn't a too much of a step down though.

p.s. I always liked this thread concept. Don't know why it hasn't exploded with posts so far.

from what i understand, the 3rd division in holland is semi pro

he's in his 20's (i think) already so i dont think there is much reason to discuss him. you could start a thread on him though since i dont think there is one on him

    Thought Hernandez played decent, 7.5

The missed header is what's going to keep him up, he puts it away and they're 3 up cruising and possibly crush Romas fighting spirit up until HT.

Not a shitter though, keepers mits were flying straight towards his face and I don't care who you are that's going to catch your attention, 50/50 chance. His possible game winner is the worst miss for me, needed to at least make the keeper make a save.

    *sitter >_>
