Hi guys, I wanted to see if any other coaches have been following the latest research on nonlinear dynamics or complex systems in coordination and skill. I know it's a bit outside the comfort zone of the typical athlete or coach, but it looks like the most informative viewpoint for informing what we do in our sessions at a practical level. I just finished a certification in neuroscience of motor learning through FC Barcelona's innovation hub, and it definitely looks like things are shifting towards this paradigm. It's not the simplest stuff, but I've written a little bit on the more practical applications in coaching. Would love to hear some opinions! http://bigpicturesoccercoaching.com/the-big-picture/
