Which 23 dudes would you bring to this prestigious best tournament in the world that one of our dudes will get a ballon d'oro for winning? Yeah I know we can't bring all our best to Copa America, so we might as well win this one. It might be a good chance to give the u-23 team a chance to get ready for Copa America in the group stages and maybe give some calls to dudes in the League their first call up to el tri.
It's beyond obvious that it's sarcasm. I would like to see the team that we fielded at the WC minus five players. Cuah, Bofo, Franco, Marquez and El Conejo. Who should we call to replace those five is the question for me.
I'd replace Osorio with Guti Estrada Add in Chuleta, Elias Hernandez and DeNigris to replace Cuauh, Bofo and Franco Jonathan Orozco and Corona to replace Conejo and Michel Jonathan Dos Santos over Torrado?

not bad. i can definately see that as the GC roster, although it's more likely that Fabian will go to Copa America instead of of the GC
yeah, i also forgot that we are allowed to use 5 over 23 guys. considering most of out best guys are defenders, i hope we do take a few from that list like Salcido, Maza, and Moreno. the icing on the cake will be if we can take Chicharito to Copa America as well. it'd be nice if the FMF just gives CONCACRAP a big "F U" and send whatever team they want and not a team composed of newbs
Theres no way ManU is going to let Chicharo go for that long.... But seriously, i think its best that we do take our best squad to the Gold Cup. If we did take them to Copa America, and we then went on to lose the gold cup, we would eventually be watching the confederations bitching here like "damn, we should have been there"

I thought people where supposed to be choosing the "best" squad possilbe? So why are people leaving out Giovani and/or Vela? Yeah, they have limited playing time on their squads, but their talent is undeniable and instead of choosing them, they pick either players who barely manage to score even in Primera División de Mexico or players who as far as I remember didn't do much or show much in their first two games in the National Team.

There are plenty of spots up for grabs on the starting XI. If everyone was playing every week, it would be a no brainer. Not posting a Lineup. And sorry if I am not updated, I know Tena will coach a mostly U-23 team in Copa America... But is there any info regarding players making both tourneys? If this is possible, who would you consider? There are 2 groups here: 1.- Those who are U-23 yet are in the seleccion mayor (Gio, Vela, Rios, ??) 2.- Those which will be over 23 by July. Any predictions? /p
Idk if the managers in Europe would like that... They are only forced to release players for their assigned continental cup...Copa America isnt ours and since we are only guests... Im not to sure that they would like their players have no rest and come back into preseason..
