Bayern are too greedy! They really ruin the Bundi! I just want to see a more competitive Bundi some days.
They are trying to low ball Ajax. Over on the Juventus forum, they have mentioned Gravenberch being one of their targets as well. I think Ajax want €30-35M with it all up front.
A couple of thoughts on yesterday’s match regarding Daley Blind. He was equally at fault in my opinion on the mistake by Berghuis as he just stands and watches after the throw in. When subbed off he just heads to the tunnel as it appeared he was pissed off. Would love to hear what his problem is. He’s not played well in a while. His physical limitations are clear to all but Van Gaal. Feyenoord keeper was absolute trash. He was a big help to Ajax truthfully.
He still thinks he is undisputed. He also refused to shake hands with bogarde which was really amateurish.
I figured that was the case. Bogarde is not the kind of guy I would want to piss off. Lol. That is indeed amateurish. I’m just sick of Blind.
Would be a great move for him. Has certainly played with a greater sense of urgency and increased work rate. Big talent should continue to develop extremely well at Bayern. Needs to keep running between the lines with the ball and continue to develop his long range shooting.
At least PSV and Feyernoord can legitimately win the title. Look at the winners of Bundi in the last 5-10 years and look at the Eredivisie
The difference isn't all that great. Bayern have won 9 of the last 10 Bundesliga titles, and Ajax have won ... 8. Overall, Ajax have won 35 titles, and Bayern ... 31.
The amazing thing about Bayern is that they don't have a super wealthy owner like many EPL teams do. They do have a great merchandising department that generates huge amount of money. They also seldom overpay for players.
Van Gaal warns Ten Hag against joining ‘commercial club’ Manchester United ‘He must choose a football club,’ says Netherlands manager Van Gaal sacked by Manchester United after 2016 FA Cup win https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...nst-joining-commercial-club-manchester-united
Bayern knows how to do business. I'm based in Hong Kong and Bayern has built football schools all across China and they hold lots of fan events across the country (watch parties). As of now, I can see they have 136 million followers already on chinese social media.... at the sametime, with Ajax, I've been wanting to purchase some merchandise from the Ajax online shop but unfortunately they don't ship to Hong Kong or the rest of China anymore... hoping this will change soon...
Which part of HK? I used to live in Tai Tam. I think, of all the "big" clubs out there, Bayern is the one I dislike the least.
Mo Ihattaren is finally match fit and expected to be in the match day roster for Jong Ajax against NAC Breda!!! Great news for the player and the club.
Well, nobody doubts his football qualities. The question is whether he'll be able to be grounded instead of wandering into distracting behaviour.
I watched highlight of his touches on a Twitter feed... looked sloppy (obviously!) - but that left foot still has the untapped potential It would be quite a comeback story if/when he regains fitness and forms - and return to relevancy. Can't wait.
Let’s see if he’s prepared to be a true professional and take his career seriously. Incredible hype surrounding him. Hope it’s true and he can find his way forward so it helps Ajax and Oranje in the near future.
Forgot to mention this in the Ajax page but Onana played an excellent match the other night leading Cameroon to the World Cup. Incredible high drama in Algeria. Not that this result is going to help Ajax but I have to give him credit.
What a dreadful display by Ajax who were lucky to get out of town with a 1-3 win. Maybe all the international players were tired from WC qualifiers but there was really nobody how was outstanding in this one. Ajax MF was quite poor. Berghuis was beautifully set up and scuffed a shot that should have eased Ajax's way to the win. He did atone later with a very nice goal but it should not have been left so late. Pressure is now on PSV who play FC Twente in Enschede. Player Ratings: Onana (6) - made one nice save but his kicking was again subpar Blind (5.5) - MIA on the Groningen goal as he was pushed up too far Schuurs (6) - OK match Timber (5.5) - too much sloppy play and conceded some free kicks close in Mazraoui (6) - just above average Gravenberch (5.5) - barely above mediocre Kudus (5.5) - had some good moments on the ball along with some bad ones; I'm not sure he is a solution to the Ajax MF Klaassen (5.5) - trademark good run for the first goal but pretty bad otherwise Tadic (6) - slotted home the game winner from the spot but not all the good otherwise Haller (4.5) - AWOL on the pitch and came off for Brobbey Berghuis (5) - the nice goal to give Ajax a two goal lead masked an otherwise mediocre game, though he did track back and defend Brobbey (5) - on for Haller and was marginally better Alvarez (5) - on for Kudus and did help out defensively Tagliafico (NR) - on for Blind but did not have an impact Taylor (NR) - on for Klaassen who took a knock on his ankle Three matches against teams on the bottom of the table along with the Cup match against PSV coming up over the next four weeks.
You think Ten Hag has been switched off? There is still a possibility he remains at Ajax. Lots of guys likely leaving so Van Der Sar needs to get the recruiting fast tracked. I would look to sell Haller too if possible and keep Brobbey but I read the latter returns to Leipzig.
I think that’s a legitimate question about ten Hag. I mean, if you’re having discussions other places, I don’t think you can be 100%. on another note, I agree about Haller. And use those proceeds to get Brobbey back. I really do rate him.
