Siem de Jong will be a teammate!!!

  2. And Ron Jans out by some hypocritical standards that let players play insulting tracks in the locker room, but sack the coach that sings the lyrics with the song they play.
This is what you get when hypocrits beep everything away in normal media.
Their rap shit craps all over the world with racist slurs, misogynic lyrics and crime/violence adolation and a criminal player files a complaint about it after he's been thrown out of the team for insurance fraud.
    MLS=Major loosers league.

Locadia was never considered as big a talent as Feddy Adu (not even near), if anyone in the Eredivisie deserves it it is Bruma from PSV [emoji57].
Drenthe was a good start though ....
You could name a boatload though who left for England before they were 18, never to be heard of again [emoji16]

I think its safe to say Afellay is the flat out winner for the 2018/2019 Freddy Adu Award

Why? He's been hampered by injuries ever since he moved to Barcelona. He is a shadow of the player he once was.

He has never really lived up to his potential (even when he was healthy)

  10. Well, that's something different from being a bust.
He was excellent in the semi final run CL campaign of PSV, so in those matches he lived up to the lofty expectations. A bust is someone who never was good at all. Afellay was never less than a good player.

  11. Didnot I watch him miss an open goal chance recently?

My Belgian friend posted this in another thread and put his comment in:

"I remember Piet de Visser said back in 2005, when Freddy played at the U20 WC in Holland, that it was already clear his formation had been disrupted but that it wasn't too late to save his career if he just returned to a good youth set-up. Too bad for Adu that apparently he never met anyone who cared enough about his career to offer him the same advice."

Freddy just proves you can have world class speed, but if you dont know what to do with the ball afterwards, it means nothing.

    Just ask Usain Bolt

Today Luc Castaignos was accepted into the Freddy Adu Hall of Shame based upon a 3-0 vote. Unfortunately, Luc wasn't able to attend the celebration. Once bought by Inter Milan from Feyenoord, Luc now plays in the Korean 2nd Division for Gyeongnam FC.

I really doubt that Adu's wealth is anywhere near that level. He never earned a big salary and maybe he had some early endorsement money but that is all gone.

Should Kishna get any mention?? I know he's still young at 25 but he's on the bench at ADO now and he's played in only a couple of games over the last 3 years
