Wrong on 2 counts. I was there and most were cheering for Spurs, even during a game they weren't playing in. I'd say Sporting came second, just in numbers, though they were not organized. Second, you think the ManU fans at the Linc were screaming? Really? They were mostly casual fans from up and down the east coast.

I sat next to a "Red Bull fan" and chatted with him. He was wearing a Fulham jersey and it was his first game at RBA.

There were maybe (MAYBE) 2,000 spurs fans total.

I've had enough bullsh*t for the day, off to work.

Stop. Go the fuck away, you trolling little cunt. First, it was the Union and SoB didn't matter at all, even though all you NJ douchebags had a giant hard on for us. Next, it was how our stadium is quiet, and we can't support our team. Not only is that bullshit, but now articles on Man Utd and EPL's website are talking about how loud, and mistakenly vulgar we are. Our stadium has never been below 95% capacity, and that's without trying to buy the most famous frog today to boost sagging numbers. You guys have bought and paid for a club superior to an expansion team. Congratulations. You couldn't even sell out your stadium against Man City. Your club, organization, and fanbase are a pathetic joke, and your superiority against a club that has never played a match in August is one of those things they will sing songs about for decades. You can tell your children all the great stories about how the Pink Cows were better than Philly during their expansion year. God knows you won't be telling them about any trophy campaigns.

I hope you slide under a gas truck and taste your own blood, you fucking pathetic troll.

    See NHL

The only reason the last few games haven't sold out is because the league requires 1,000 seats for walkups. There weren't too many walk ups for the 100+ degree weather or the torrential downpour the next week. Sorry for that.

Ok...I'm glad you guys aren't totally confusing your sports, but the Flyers have been playing that song for at least the past 4 years, maybe more but I don't go to too many of their games. Pennywise's guitarist actually supported the Flyers because of it http://www.philly.com/dailynews/features/20100609_Dan_Gross__Pennywise___Flyers_in_harmony.html

The attendance "smack" isn't really smack talk at all. We just find it ironic how a new stadium and 2 DPs near the biggest metropolis in the country still can't sellout. I don't really care if it does or doesn't. I honestly thought they'd sell out the rest of the season when they signed Henry. It would be better for the league if you were selling that place out, and God knows the FO is really trying (Spending), but even that doesn't seem to work. I guess the Mets and Yanks are tough competition. Oh wait...our baseball team sells out every game too (See 87th consecutive sellout http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/99216289.html?cmpid=15585797)

Hmm...I'll keep checking that attendance thread you guys have over there and see what the issues are.

Until then...Go F off back to the hole you crawled out of.

Jen, even one of your own precious threads that bashes ESC manages to give credit to us...

    https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1498910

As does a writer for EPL talk...

    http://www.epltalk.com/philadelphia...-themselves-against-man-united/22457#comments

Not to mention that in every single broadcast from Philly, every announcer talks about us and how damned loud it is... Meanwhile, no one can ever hear you over all the chirping crickets from the empty seats...

Now run along. Are the Pink Cows still auditioning DP's, or are you still trying them out?

    Ah, a personal attack. Classy.

I'll just say that EddieBa knows who I am (one of the first people I met at Metro tailgates) and can refute everything you just said about me. I've kept it quite civil and refrained from insults throughout. I highly suggest you do the same.

If we're making suggestions now, I've got one for you. Stop trolling on the Philadelphia Forum. I don't give a flying fuck who you are, or who wants to vouch for you. All I know is when Philadelphia fans go into the NY forum, everyone there screams and bitches about Philadelphia trolling. Now, do the same, and fuck off. Kthanksbye.

If you thought my post was a personal attack, perhaps you ought to re read it, omitting the first and last sentence. No one gives a crap about the opinion of New Jersey supporters in regards to us, no matter how many times you choose to derogatorially give it. You're trolling, and it needs to stop.

"PPL Park is rapidly becoming one of the most difficult venues to play at for any visiting team in MLS, and the rabid Philly fan base will be sure to make life miserable for the Revolution."

The match, by the way, was ESPN2's MLS game of the week, and a solid traveling contingent from Columbus added even more noise to the overall good atmosphere; once again, the Sons of Ben at the "River End" of PPL Park were in stellar voice all night long. You have to give those guys ... and gals ... huge amounts of credit for their undying enthusiasm for this Union team. MLS is really seeing what is was missing by not being in the Philly market from 1996 to 2010.

I stand by my earlier statement about the very weird obsession Pink Cow fans have with our team. You'd think they'd have enough to worry about, seeing as they pretty much HAVE to win MLS Cup this year to justify their most recent Cosmos-Shopping Spree.

They claim it's a sell out at PCA vs the Galaxy, still the same numbers as the past.
