    More like England loses...again.

    Just entirely predictable.

Of course. The only team to more consistently crush dreams is Scotland.

Bummed no Dike or Hoppe. Hopefully we're holding them out until the bigger game against Canada.

    I think that's Berholter's plan.

What are the Red Stars even doing anymore?

Their last three goals are own goals. They've won two games in a row without scoring. Their leading goalscorer is Own Goal. Katie Naughton has as many goals for the Red Stars as Kealia Watt and Mallory Pugh.

I'm trying to find something to talk about for this game but I don't even know. The player of the match was Supernova, out there in humid misting rain and a wind that's gonna make a wet fuzzy costume uncomfortable (I have experience in this). Both teams kinda sucked, but the Red Stars were just bad. They haven't scored a goal in the run of play since Mallory Pugh did it all on her own against Houston back in May.

When did the Red Stars get worse than the Fire?

I saw someone had a sign in the Italian section that said "Oops, it's coming to Rome".

Good reason and I started to despise them about the same time.
A dirty play on "poor" Tab Ramos.

This is more egregious, though, and more indicative of why I despise them.:

A 48 min Euro recap on ESPN+. I could watch half of these games again. This was a great tournament.

No, but you were more accurate than Southgate.

EDIT: I'm so glad Southgate's penalty experience have been coached into the English team.

    Yes, and Italy's have not.

Richard Branson went to space the other day to retrieve Roberto Baggio's 1994 World Cup losing penalty attempt.

It has been in earth's orbit for 27 years and was beginning to interfere with all of the Internet satellites everyone is launching.

They could save money and just have Baggio kick then into orbit.

It's inbred into the English genetic pool.

  25. Baresi blazed over the bar and Massaro was saved, but the only one everyone remembers is Baggio because he was last.
