    Klich has been substituted.
They have to get Moder off of the field now.

Earlier, France fans were throwing beer and crap at the Hungarians. No class.

I’ll go yell at those kids on my lawn now.

    Excellent come back for Poland.

    Spain just flat out sucks.
76% possession tonight, 80+% against Sweden
    1 goal
    1 penalty miss

From the Guardian a few minutes ago:
    90+3 min Tiki-taka-tiki-taka-tiki-taka-hoof clear.

Red Stars salvaged a draw on a late penalty.

The Chicago defense stood no chance against Rodman.

Pugh is too selfish and I'm just generally concerned for that defense. I think we've hyped them a bit too much.

    Group A final games

Wales against a very depleted (but still very good) Italy. 8 changes for Italy.
Switzerland against an awful Turkey team. Worst team in the tournament so far.
    2 games, 2 losses by 3-0

Edit: 7 minutes in and Turkey is already down a goal.
Edit: 28 minutes in and Turkey is down 2-0.

Could they end the tournament with three straight 3-0 losses?

Too late to edit, but Wales beat Turkey 2-0, not 3-0
    Swiss up 3-1 against Turkey

Italy/Wales sure slowed down after the red card. On to the round of 16.

Denmark with the performance of the tournament.

An inspired, dominant performance against a poor Russian side.

Through to the round of 16 against Wales in Amsterdam.

Belgium with a typical outing against the Finns.

Denmark was inspiring and a wonderful outcome. The Danes could reasonably beat the Welsh in the next round, entering the quarterfinals.

I think a Danish win is likely at this point.

Gimenez on the bench for Paraguay against Argentina

Too bad. He is such an amazing defensive midfielder, I am sure he would have no problem stopping Messi and Sergio Aguero and Angel De Maria

    England wins group.
    Croatia second.
    Czech through as third place.

The drunken haggis eaters are out, having only managed 1 point (for the record, I really, really like Scotland).

Just catching up on the game and England, despite playing at home and having a decent team on paper, are really playing a weak, boring style.

No creativity in midfield (where is this generation's Beckham, Scholes, Gerrard or Lampard?), little strength up top, despite having Kane, Sterling and Rashford. Kane works very hard, but has nothing to show for it.

I don't fancy their chances in the next round, against the second place team in group F. France. Germany or Portugal would run this English team off of the field. Hungary would give them a decent run.

The English have to significantly raise their game or they are going home.

Watched Scotland v Croatia and was bummed by the result. Absolutely nothing against Croatia at all, they really deserved to win. The goal by Modric was sublime. I got one side through (Denmark) in dramatic fashion and Scotland was, well, Scotland. Alas.

    Final group games.

    Poland advances with a win.
    Frankowski on the bench again.

Sweden through, and win the group with a win or would win the group with a draw if Slovakia also draw.

The awful Alejandro Moreno on the ESPN2 call. He is way worse than Taylor Twellman and I despise Twellman. His voice is grating and says just stupid things.

Lewandowski puts two headers off of the cross bar in a 3 second span.

Meanwhile, Morata has a penalty saved in Spain.

Slovakian goal keeper decides to punch the ball into his own goal.

One of the most bizarre plays by Senor Own Goal ever gives an awful Spanish team hope.
