I'm curious as to what other games/leagues you're watching to forget about the current state of the Fire. I'll go first... Right now I'm watching the Bundesliga, Mainz/Leverkusen to be specific. Later this morning I plan to put on some La Liga (Athletic Bilbao/Sevilla). Tonight I'm off to the Red Stars game for some live soccer, DVRing what should be a good couple of match ups in Liga MX, Tigres/Cruz Azul and America/Pumas.
Watched Man United v Leicester this morning and will watch the Mexican games this evening. I have fox soccer plus, so I usually watch reruns of the German games midweek.
Palermo take on Juventus at noon (11am for you central time guys) today. They might actually suck worse than the Fire though. They are averaging .5 goals scored per game right now. Also like the Fire, their highest paid player only makes €700k (net).
Watched man united vrs leicester. Watching right now bayern munich vrs hamburg will watch arsenal vrs chelsea. I will record a total of 33 soccer games this weekend some I will watch live others I will fast forward through to see the goals. I am also going to the red stars game tonight. Is that enough soccer?
Let me guess, you have Comcast (the only provider I'm aware of that doesn't carry FS2 and doesn't even give beIN in HD)? Your only alternative if they're your provider is to subscribe to a channel package that gives you Fox Deportes which shows a lot of Bundesliga games on Saturdays and Sundays. I'm glad I dropped Comcast to internet only and stream my television via Playstation Vue and FuboTV.
I think I will watch some games other than #cf97. Will definitely see if Feyenoord can continue their perfect start against Roda tomorrow. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
Also a Palermo fan, so when I'm not cheering for the Fire, I'm cheering for the Sicilian version of the Fire, with an owner that is the bizarro version of Hauptman but still doesn't spend. I think we went through 7 head coaches last season, and this year, through 4 or 5 games, there have already been 3 as our current coach had to miss his first game to serve out a suspension. I cheer for Celtic too, but the only time they're on a channel I get (besides the Old Firm game that was on FS1 a couple of weeks ago) is when they're getting curb stomped by the likes of Barca in the CL. Basically, if I'm watching a team I like on TV, they're probably getting their ass kicked.
I record most of the EPL games (obligatory "EPL sucks" comment for @bunge, notwithstanding), some Bundesliga games, and all Champions League games that are televised (thanks, DVR with ridiculous amount of memory) but I have not watched any other games since the start of the European seasons. The Fire have pretty much ruined my interest in watching club soccer.
Anyone who wants to go, please see the Red Stars Thread or PM me. I have extra tickets. http://forums.bigsoccer.com/threads/nfr-2016-chicago-red-stars-thread.2026728/page-15
Thanks, but it came from the #cf97 feed thanks to one of our occasional contributors here. 779517696329125888 is not a valid tweet id
Replay of Friday's Dortmund match. Also watched Indy eleven win and remain undefeated at home against the cosmos
I have Ligue 1 on in the background, Rennes/Guingamp specifically. Grosicki was having a great game with his distribution into space for the attack, it's too bad no one could find the net. And he just had a penalty saved by the Guingamp keeper.
