It’s never too soon to lose hope! Another road game. We’re going from bad to worse here, people; that’s right from the swamps of Florida to the dumps of New Jersey.
Not only is that part of New Jersey a dump, but it's also a swamp. Also of note, for a month or so a few years ago, my attic was the raccoon capital of the world.
Not saying that New Jersey is a good place(even though I was born there and lived there for about a month), but wasn't Chicago built on a swamp?
Yes, toilet paper can be recycled. Oh, wait, Rodriguez has been recycled through the toilet of MLS at least four times ("Metrostars," league front office, Fire...) Well, only one leaves lingering stains for years anywhere it lands.
This is one of those games I’m going to watch, because I’m a fan, but I’m not happy about it. A win doesn’t seem like a real possibility, I’d be surprised if we even score tonight, and our chances to make the playoffs are slim and nil. New York is a great city, but it’d be an even greater city if the people there would shut up about how great it is, and, also, the Red Bulls don’t play in New York. Chicago 5, RBNY 4, with a hat trick by Harry Shipp giving us the advantage.
I was probably gonna watch on my phone at the Red Stars tailgate, but I joined a fantasy football league that decided to push the draft time to the Fire's kickoff. So, I guess I'm not watching.
The Chicago Fire are one of the worst road teams IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. Think about that for a minute, and how crazy that is. There are thousands of professionals soccer teams in the world, and we are one of the worst in the world on the road. Füking insAne.
Video replay shows the ball goes to Beric off a NY player. Beric goal! Fire up 1 - 0. Yes, you read that right, Beric goal.
How did Beric not miss that? He was 4 meters from goal, plenty of space to shank it into Row Z Really, a goal poaching goal. A few more of those and Beric might get off of people's crap list. Beric looks happy.
