I don't think it's too far fetched to hope that Endrick actually plays in this international window. His competition is Gabriel Jesus and Joao Pedro. It's unlikely he will get a start over these players as they are more experienced, but I don't expect either one to see a full 90 minutes in either match. I can see Endrick being used as a sub.

That learning curve was steep. Looking forward to seeing him next season. He does play less as a #9 at this point it seems, but it doesn't matter as long as he learns to make good off ball runs. Playing more as a support striker should improve his technique at least.

If he had more players around him that knew how to "touch the ball" (meaning more technical skills) and with a tactical style, I think he could have scored 30 goals this season (including state competition). If he played for Flamengo for example, I think he would have have fared better.

I get Abel. He won a lot of titles with his very direct playing style and that formation. Tough to change a winning system to accommodate a 16/17 year old who may or may not be ready. But once Dudu got injured and certain players started really underperforming, I think he just made the wrong choice shifting players around trying to keep the same system. He messed up 3 positions trying to do so (LW, RW, RB).

It was clear to see that system was not good for Endrick at all and it's not surprising that it probably affected some of his confidence making him underperform even more.

The overhype machine is just pathetic.

It's just his attire on a slow news day of an international break. Pathetic is seeing that and getting upset.

According to Twitter, the second-best player ever. Behind Endrick.

Diniz, coach of the Brazilian national team: "I see gigantic potential in Endrick. He could turn into one of those legendary players of football".

Ha, I'm not the irrational HaTeR your reading comprehension led you to believe I am. Sorry to disappoint you.

Diniz is a breath of fresh air. The only decent Brazilian coach to emerge in a while. Really wish the guy success for doing something different. I'm glad he won the Libertadores with Marcelo, and he could be a nice replacement for Abel Ferreira when he leaves us.

As for Endrick, I hope he does well and finally justifies the extreme hype given to him. Don't really like the idea of us having zero aerial threat with him as our 9. That shouldn't bother people, but it does for some reason. Adults these days, haha.

I did not think Brazil would start a 17 year uncapped player in an important WCQer.

Brazil is desperate for a decent 9. Neymar was not it. Vini and Rodrygo are not it.

If everybody is hip to those players how great of an achievement is it to descover them?

Were doing a good job in recruiting them though, that's all that matters.

I don't think Estevao will amount to anything great to be honest. Angelo is much superior imo. Endrick as a winger has smaller potential than as CF so I hope hes not groomed to be that.
