What truck drivers have to deal with when in France/UK border. French police is like an oxymoron.

Europe is screwed. They won't be able to successfully assimilate at these arrival rates. And there's no sign if the crisis ending any time soon.

Arrival rates in Germany at least, despite the ridiculous alarmism earlier, have gone down significantly (to 16,000 per month currently), as has the number of refugess in Germany in total. Researchers estimate that there are currently between 600,000 and 800,000 refugees left in Germany, compared to 1,1 million in 2015.

What's happening in Syria at the moment apparently is the biggest refugee crisis since the second world war. And that's not even including refugees from Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya. A huge civil war in front of your own doorstep so to speak always causes large numbers of refugees. The Yugoslavia wars/conflicts in the 90s caused asylum seeker numbers to spike to almost 450.000 in Germany in '93. The situation in Syria is much worse. So it's not really that surprising. Also a lot of "opportunists"/economic refugees trying to get into Europe from other countries as well most of which will not get accepted for asylum.

The biggest problem with the crisis is that the structures put in place where/are completely inadequate to deal with the masses and, that the situation in Syria won't be resolved fast enough for people to actually return there.

Furrealz - what's a viable solution to stop that murderous dickehead Assad besides a costly "regime change"?

Tackle properly, as in wrapping your arms around the opponent's lower body, rugby style. Don't try to bump helmets, like NFLers do.
